Well considering one of the members passed and we haven't been a band since 2005, I would guess Heaven.
Not that you'll have tickets or anything.
20 years since your last gig. But you opened for "major" acts and then decided to quit. That makes sense.

Well, if you’ve ever tried making it with original music, it makes a lot of sense. Or for anyone with any actual experience might just know, nothing is guaranteed and life happens. You made the kind of comment that shows you haven’t even come close to opening for a plunger salesman at a plumbing convention.

Simping for her won't get you laid bro.

I’m not even saying this with anger because you’re too pathetic. I actually pity you. You are a complete and utter failure at being an adult human being. The colloquial expression from my homeland would be, I believe …”a worthless cunt” 🤔

I never did care for the opinions of limeys.

Don’t worry, where I'm from doesn’t care about you either, because remember….you’re a worthless cunt. 🤷‍♂️
Lisa is married so I doubt your simping for her will pay off.

20 years since my last band does not equal 20 years since my last gig. I didn't quit if you read the whole thing. I had school which pretty much guaranteed life success and also had two kids. I'm a multi-instrumentalist who has done numerous soundtracks and have had the pleasure of working with orchestras since that time. Lots of hard work and I would take all of that over being stuffed in a bus for months or years with a bunch of people who haven't showered in a week and begin to despise one another just to end up owing money to a label.

Skoora and I probably don't see eye to eye on dumb stuff like politics and likely some other things, but he's 1000x the man you will ever be. He's a good guy overall and is an awesome member here. Your constant need to twist everyone into being part of some bs that you created is on you, VB. Not me. Not them. You claim all of this brotherly love stuff, but your true colors come out as often as you mention the word gig.

I realize this thread went off the rails seven pages ago, but regarding the four preamps Hetfield uses - most of the big racks from back in the day doesn´t use MIDI apart from controlling the central switcher unit. I remember talking to some dude years ago, he was so frustrated with the seemingly impossible MIDI implementaton of some gigantic The Edge rig, and the simple solution is that not one of all those FX units even has the MIDI hooked up. One separate unit for every tone needed instead of switching presets is the Bradshaw way, which many techs are disciples of. Could definitely be as simple as that.

James Hetfield.

Dude is super secretive about what he uses and guards the particulars of what he does very closely. At first glance, hearing his general cadence about this kind of thing almost makes it seem like he avoids gear talk because he's not a gearhead and doesn't care, like he just wants "some good high gain shit" and that's as deep as he goes while letting his techs do everything else, but I think he knows exactly what he's doing and what he wants out of his tone, but refuses to talk about how he actually gets it. Almost every detail we actually know about his sound comes from other people who have worked with him, and most of them usually avoid going into any real detail "out of respect for James."

Not sure I buy into this one. I think he really is just a simple person. He was talking about hunting bear on Joe Rogan a while back, and Joe asked him what bear tastes like. "Uh... I dunno... meat? So anyway I started blasting". Pretty much a direct quote.

Hah yeah I listened to that one. Good interview.

However he's also said stuff like "I'm on this eternal quest to get the best guitar sound in the world" in a Guitar World interview, and in another interview I saw where he was sitting in the empty seats of some stadium with the interviewer, he said he could talk guitar gear all day with the right people. I think he's simple with some things, but I do think he cares about gear enough to have some preferences. Then there's also Bob Rock who has said he's never worked with another band who knew more about exactly what they wanted. Maybe that doesn't mean specific pieces of gear, but I'd think it would mean specific tones, which James would probably know what gear you can or can't get those sounds with.
