High hopes for this one.

We've been friends for 10 years and we've dated for six.

Just wait until you add a couple of kids into the mix.

You're just the bringer of good tidings this morning aren't you?

Yes, I am the resident crusty old bastard, I suppose.

It's all good. Get married and procreate! We need more gear heads roaming the Americas - it can only mean more deals on used gear! :rawk:

Now let's get this thread back on topic. Why?....Because Bob's wood is long and smooth and he knows how to work it.

Case in point, my assortment of pedals.

Bob knows what he's working with.

Jeez Bob,
You wernt kidding when you told me about setting up a cool wood shop a couple years ago!

Aristocat, I recommend you stockpiling every peice of gear that you can. While you can!

Dude, this a rarity!

I'm also getting a new road bike soon and my SCUBA certification for my internship. Well, Megan and I need our certification for our internship.

What are you taking at school that requires a SCUBA certification? Deep sea welding? There's good money in it......

Not school. Professional Internship through WDW.

Mine is an Environmental Science Project Management Internship and Megan's is Conservation Educator. She needs it for her's but I've wanted to wreck dive since I was in the 6th grade. It's just great timing for the two of us and I have two dive schools in town.

I'm really considering one of Bobs pedalboards too. What is considered to be the best way to mount pedals to this type of pedalboard... still dual-lock? Not my favorite option to be sure... kind of liked the idea of using zipties as per the HoleyBoards.

I think zip ties look "amateur," for a lack of better word, and would use a strip of dual lock under each pedal, but it's up to you how you attach the pedals. You could even use epoxy if you decided you'll never, ever, ever want to change the pedals or location. ;)

I'm currently collecting pedals to use with a future AC30 setup. Once I have all the pedals I want, I'll definitely contact Bib for some of his wood. ;)

Those look killer Bob.

Bob,

Can you post a shot of the underside?

I'm interested in seeing how you made the joints hold.

Thanks.
