Someone asked me a while back how VH4 & Uberschall sound together. Ripping!!! :D

Royer121 on EVM12L-VH4-CH4, SM7B on V30-Uberschall-CH2, 2 takes panned left, right. Edwards EMG81.

The same exact setup with Ubershall in first & Herbert in second clip. Permanent VH4-CH4, MXREQ/JB.

Posted this one before as well, but it's Einy clip anyway :)

Guitar hammering starts at 1:11 ;) Synths before that.

Gibson LP Classic Antique into Einstein 100W head, Framus 2x12 rear loaded cab with V30 and G12K-100 speakers. Mic'ed with Senn e906 (@V30) and Geffel condenser (w/ UM70 capsule @G12K), through custom made (API like) mic preamp into RME Multiface. Effects added during the mix.

I got the Herbert a little less than a week ago and this is a chunk rhythm clip that I recorded. Its simple, two passes one left one right. Here is the chain: ESP Baritone - EVH Flanger - Ernie Ball Vol Pedal - Herbert CH2 + - Bogner OS 2x12 - Royer 121, SM57 (Blended equally) - Summit MPC100a pre/compressors - Aurora16 converters, LYNX AES soundcard - Nuendo

It's clips like this that make me glad I purchased the Herbert.

Also, after hearing this clip, I can't believe that people say that actives don't sound good with Diezels. Is the Krankenshaft the only boost you have? I'm curious as to how my OD808 or OD820 will sound in front of it....

thanks man.
I also have a Keeley modded OD808 and an Xotic AC Booster, but the Krankshaft and OD808 sound very simliar to me to be honest. The Krankshaft is based on the OD808 afaik, but a little more aggressive. The OD808 sounds a bit smoother to me.

Here is another one with Herbert & VH4. Same setup just more gain & low end on Herbert.

Uuups my webspace limit is brocken  So I had to take the clips of... Sorry

Hey, nice clip
, really nice to hear Tele with VH4 a nd Frontloadad 4x12 .. thats what I am goingto have to, now only waiting for my 4x12 frontloaded V30 and the Fender Telecaster I am looking for now too, I love them maybe mor than Stratocasters :)

Another one with Herbert & VH4. Now even MORE GAIN & POWER AMP!

New demo, very repettitve but meant to be like that as the vocal tags we do in the rehearsal space really make the songs, so it is mean to be kind a one riff song ;)

and also a quick short one I might make into an instrumental.

Diezel VH4 (Biased at 49-50 with NOS Phillips tubes, very hot amp, and always need to turn the gain down on channel three and 4)
Boss Super Chours in channel instert
Diezel rearloaded cab top left speaker with one e906 mic, on axis.
One guitar per track, no doubling of them. Wanted to keep it open and simple as possible for when we do vocals for it.
Also not bass yet. :)
