Built myself this absurdity a while back featuring an EVH 50w and an SP77 I modded both sharing the EVHs power amp and a Fryette Power Station run in stereo into two custom made 4x12 cabs and a matching headshell for the EVH just because...

With my #1 guitar, that I of course built to match the white/black theme of the rig...

Here's the routing for those who like the nerdy stuff....

Awesome! The next thing I need to get into with my rig is a switching system and midi foot controller of some type. I need to educate myself about that stuff more.

LOL. Yeah I finally did get rid of the pig nose! I do love the gear I have. It took me a LONG time to get to the point that I could have it, so I'm thankful for it. I love talking gear and guitar playing. This forum has been great so far. I wish I were closer to some forum members and could hook up and hang out with them. My friends don't play and I'm not in a band. My girlfriend plays drums a little though, so that's cool.
The band scene around here sucks now. It's weird. Back in the day there was quite a bit of local punk and then hard rock and metal bands around. That seems to have died to a great extent here. I don't get it. There is still plenty of fucking bluegrass though! Ugh!

For bass, Zoom B1on.

Into my FRFR (Bose L1 Model II, 2 * B1, T1 ToneMatch)

My home rigs include a Vox AC15H1TV, AC4TV, Fender Deco Tone and Engl E530 + E850/100 + 2 * Pro E212VH. Bass: Trace Elliot MP11, TC Electronic RH450.

Love it. The left speaker and the right are exactly 1.5" from the rack. Head is centered on top of the rack. Everything matches.

LOL, yeah I'm a bit obsessive with little details and the whole rig was planned to death for its sound, function and looks.

Awesome! The next thing I need to get into with my rig is a switching system and midi foot controller of some type. I need to educate myself about that stuff more.

I did a TON of reading while planning out my rig and deciding to go with a rack and midi setup really made life easier.

I got dragged to a bluegrass festival once. Saw Doc Watson, Met Bill Monroe and had no idea who the hell he was as I wasn't into bluegrass. Saw a bunch of other top bands too.
I couldn't wait to get the fuck out of there to go home and order a banjo

Was the most damn fun I ever had. Hearing a banjo rip off in the distance up on stage just makes you want to pound beers. I saw this band called the Freight Hoppers Jam behind their van. They had a whole group of folks, myself included, in a trance. It was like Metallica does old time music.

Well I'm a born and bred Tennessee boy, but I have been surrounded by BAD country, bluegrass, gospel/bluegrass for so long I just loath it all. I will agree, however, that there are a VERY FEW bluegrass/flat pickers that can absolutely play their asses off! It is impressive to watch those few play, but I just cannot get into the sound or structure of bluegrass. I was born loving rock, just can't help it.

These days the rig is an Anderson Hollow Classic, Bogner Shiva (el34 version w reverb), Mesa 2x12, and TC Alter Ego delay. I also have a Les Paul Classic and Parker Fly Classic as alternates to the Anderson.

I love it. I had a Marshall 1936 and I think the Mesa 2x12 sounds thicker.
