Lol, shots fired. Even Ola is getting in on the shitting-on-Dinesh action.

Yep.

First one obviously should have been a heavy player, doing the heavy tone. Capt Obvious.

Then, break out the dad/grandpa mellow tones for all the tan pants. The amp is well known for Metallica.
As others said here, whomever decided to launch the promo the way they did needs to be in a different job.
Or out of one.

The first demo should have been Petrucci. They could have stopped after that one. He has been the biggest brand ambassador for Mesa/Boogie since the 90s.

man, it's one thing to not like a youtuber, which I totally get, but all you guys making fun of something like this are fucking dweebs.

Why are we dweebs?

I admire Thorn for playing for Cornell before that great man’s untimely death.

I also admire Ola for covering up his face with a beard all those years ago. Huge improvement.

Fluff could stand to lose a little weight, I suffer from the same struggle, so I can sympathise.

I thought you preferred the clean shaven look. The bald, glasses and with a goatee look is very unsettling.

Anyhow, let me sum up the actual point of this discussion before it was derailed because a few guys were just voicing their uncharitable opinions.

A pattern has emerged. So few Mark IIC+ videos, but no clicks on genuine content.

What will happen next is a pro YouTuber posts. 20k hits in a few hours.

That’s because payment is made to bot farms to flood the video. No one else has the inclination or the mindset to hoodwink people.

The algorithm kicks in. People are recommended content. More people start watching. YT does nothing to eliminate the bots because they have their orders.

But if you are a small timer, they will.

The views are in the order of tens of thousands. Comments are in the 30s and 40s, maybe 80 on some videos. Talk about a disparity.

It’s highly dubious content where people are told that all high gain amps sound the same. Anyone who has several amps will know that isn’t true.

Knobs are turned, the base tone stays the same. YTers have magic wrists and fingers because it’s all there and not in the gear.

That’s because it’s all tone matched.

People who question are branded toxic. Punishment is meted out through cancel culture and whisper campaigns and calls to offices.

If you are particularly problematic, there’s even more trouble. Payments made in return for illegal conduct and career sabotage, dirty deeds done, houses broken into and guitars stolen and damaged.

I hope that someday, everyone wakes up, and realised it was all true.

Does that fucking make sense? If not, go look at the Mooer Black truck video I posted on this thread.

It’s just talk now, so nothing to be alarmed about.

At worst, a bunch of YTers will find they are only being watched by bots.

Anyway, dweebs we ain’t. This is a civil discussion.

Yep. Could not agree more. When I bought my MarkV:25 it was after seeing JP's video playing the proto (if I remember correctly) and asking if he could bring it to his next gig. I went to try one. I am no JP but could dial similar sound and got home with a Mini Mark.

The way I see this: Gibson marketing team totally missed it and were clueless of the product they were working on or JP knows things about Randall's recent departure and decided to stay away from any promotion of the reissue.

On my side, I keep repeating it... lol... have one on order but up North across the border, we don't have official ETA of when we will receive our amps.

So to summarize, Internet.
