shocker! /s

:D

That’s lame though. My arguments aren’t circular. My arguments are dead ass simple, I just waste my time defending them against nonsensical tangents

Wait a sec... I though you were claiming that water is perfectly level. Now you say that a very very shallow curve would be there. That's the water conforming to the curvature of the earth as in the calculations posted. You've just invalidate your claim for flat earth and validated globe/ball earth.
Speaking as if it were true. I can't see or detect any curvature on any body of water let alone in a bathtub. But maybe it's true 🤷‍♂️

It's circular to state that you know what a phenomena is simply because you can create a formula that models its behavior. The problem is that the formula could equally apply whether it's gravity or buoyancy or something else.

Lol whats it with you and models?

If you observe something, then test and study it to the point you can make a formula for it… then it is a quantifiable thing. It exists. It is that simple

You have it all backwards thinking people made predictions first then created a formula to fit.

that is shit science. That is also what most flat earthers do

It's the part that you're missing. I told you earlier. Science creates stories to describe phenomena. It can't tell you what things are. At least you have to hold its findings tentatively, depending on the strength of the evidence, which I already told you is a subjective matter, not objective. Another word for "story is model. Science creates models, or theories, to describe what's going on. The model for gravity is fine and good. But it doesn't identify gravity because it is simply a model. You can't detect it in any other way other than through inference and deduction. And maybe it exists. But you have to recognize that the model you're using, while accurate, could also be applied to an entirely different phenomena and be equally accurate. That is to say, that the model doesn't prove the existence of gravity. It simply models the behavior of physical objects in the world we live.

You're the one that said there would be a very very shallow curve of the water in a bathtub even if you couldn't detect it. Sounded like you were walking back on your claim that the earth is flat.

Unless you would like to concede the earth is a ball, that's not what I was really asking you for anyway. I would like you to show me perfectly level water that would invalidate the calculations based on the accepted diameter of the earth. I even suggested a way for you to do this. I said a bathtub, but feel free to use any body of water.
A bathtub should be roughly 1 m long. Demonstrate to me that your ruler can measure a known 0.000002 cm curvature to validate its accuracy. Then measure the water in the bathtub to show there's no curvature.

That was total nonsense bro.

Where did he claim the earth is flat?

I'm getting challenged now for supposedly both saying it's flat and saying it's round lol
Proving most people cannot deal with dissent on these topics so they paint you into a corner you never stood in. It only fuels my disbelief in the current model.

I think the difference between you and acceptance is the approach. You have your belief system and are clear that is what you are using to form your opinions. Debating that against science is apples and oranges.

But if someone is trying to use fake science to argue against actual science, it’s like someone who saw an apple once against an apple farmer.
