Proof the Earth is round

It's just your opinion that it's a hard fact. You've never been to outer space or seen a ball earth. You just take for granted that it is because it's been so thoroughly drilled into you head. That it boggles your mind to this degree that someone else might not believe it is evidence of this.
I just have to observe the motion of the stars about the celestial poles for starters and observe the moon and planets. Also the shadow cast by the earth in a lunar eclipse. Not to mention all the images from satellites - you can't exclude that evidence for the sake of some bonkers fruitcake argument. Also the way gravity acts to make objects into spheroidal objects beyond a certain mass.

If you can't put all that evidence together and work out a rational conclusion then you are either stupid, insane or both. That's not an insult - it's a logical conclusion.

Dude your understanding of microwaves is a blurb you copied and pasted about someone one company did.
Yet to give grief for someone else accepting something entire fields of scientific study, thousands of people over hundreds of years, have all studied and came to the same conclusions on. It’s asinine

There is no debate. Just insanity, stupidity or both from you two. It's not like a political issue where you can have a differing opinion because people have different goals. You both wilfully ignore reality and all the evidence before your very eyes. This is hard fact. You are therefore delusional and ought to be in the funny farm.
You are not good at conveying advanced concepts in text without getting frustrated and losing your shit like this. EVERY TIME. You can't handle a disagreement about anything included in your worldview like an adult. So insults is all you got little fella. Lather, rinse, repeat.

@Dan Gleesak
I was going to start a new topic, but since we're both pretty active in this one I'll do it here.
I want to apologize for being overly harsh towards you about the pet thing. Animal cruelty is a hot button topic for me and I got pissed at the jokes that were being made by several. I said something to the collective, but didn't come down as hard with that as I did directed at you. I didn't intend to single you out. I think you just happened to get caught in the crosshairs. That's no excuse though, you didn't deserve any of it, and again I do apologize. I hope you'll be cool with conversing with each other (assuming you don't mind the occasional generic back and forth ripping that happens in OTC).

Thanks man. No harm done at all

No mate - I'm really good at conveying advanced concepts. You're just plain stupid or insane.

"There MUST be an explanation!" :ROFLMAO:

...I dont think you guys can see how attached to this you are.

You're best at conveying the concept that you are the sawed off little hot tempered short man syndrome runt I pegged you for from some of our very first interactions.

I spent like 2 hours the other day repairing a track for an observatory dome so that it could follow a galaxy over night.
But hey, at least profiting from the conspiracy huh?

I’m sure there is an explanation. Just because you didn’t find it on a guitar forum doesn’t mean it’s not out there.

i will be posting my overall vegemite/marmite review with the toast points and a lot taken from @Monkey Man astute bread delivery research suggestions. Rest assured, I am not approaching this tatamount tasting of toasted toppings unprepared.

So you infer from these observations that we live on a spinning ball but disregard direct observation that counters that it's flat?

Like what satellite pictures at what altitude? They stitch those together as I recall. And unfortunately none of us have access to a satellite anyways, so we have to exclude that as proof.

Dude, plenty of people have been to space, plenty of satellites have taken photos of earth and the moon from space. It’s not a stretch that space exists and the earth and moon are spheres. Your position is a giant stretch.

What pet thing? Doesn't Dan like doggos? @Dan Gleesak How's the pup btw?
It was from one of the Hattians eating cats threads and people making jokes about it. Stuff like cats go good with baked beans or whatever. When I was young that happened to the family chihuahua. My 2 cats are virtually like children to me. I got in my head about how upsetting it would be for someone to do that to them and it got me pissed. I unintentionally singled Dan out and I wrongfully took it out on him.

The only non composite I have seen was a utterly awful black and white that was so grainy it looks like someone took it with a malfunctioning flip phone. Why aren't there tens of thousands of high resolution single image photos of earth since we have all this awesome technology?

Cause it's a scam. Total bullshit taught in the 0-7 formative years. Very hard to shake loose from that.

There's no conspiracy there. But you know, people will fight to the death over beliefs alone, no power or money needed.

Personal and institutional battles have taken place over stuff like the tuning of an instrument.
