Yeah I understand. The properties of water just don't work that way though. Can you do a demo, or an analogous demo?Gravity settles water to equilibrium. On a round earth, equilibrium is curved
I am suggesting some of both. IE, I think that there is an intentional (At the highest level) conspiracy to cover and confuse the true nature of the physical world and also that we should trust our senses and intuitions that the world is flat. Again, I think the vast, vast majority of people, even those working for NASA, Space X and so on believe the earth is a spinning ball and aren't trying to deceive anyone.Well the second part of that is certainly true but I thought you were saying before that it is Big Gov that was hiding the fact that the Earth was actually flat and proactively creating loads of fake pictures and videos so we would all think it is a globe. For some reason.
Or were you more saying that we should trust our visible surroundings only, and because neither of us have actually flown up high enough to confirm otherwise, we should hold to the assumption that everything is flat?
Yeah I understand. The properties of water just don't work that way though. Can you do a demo, or an analogous demo?
You're just asserting it though. There are no experiments you can point to that demonstrate it so far as I am aware. The properties of water do work that way though.
I see. That is definitely clarifying. Thanks,I am suggesting some of both. I should add that I also suspect that the handfuls of people who are in a position to deceive are themselves limited in their understanding as to the true nature of the physical world, having tested it's limits or at least the limits of what humans can currently achieve.I see. That is definitely clarifying. Thanks,

That's VonBonfire he thinks you can pray to dead people. I don't. Dead people aren't God....Coming from a guy who talks to dead people in the sky
Jesus was a person. Or so the story goes. That's VonBonfire he thinks you can pray to dead people. I don't. Dead people aren't God.
Jesus was also God. He himself said so.Jesus was a person. Or so the story goes.
He's talking about saints.Jesus was a person. Or so the story goes.
Like I was saying...Jesus was also God. He himself said so.
No such thing as "saints" in the sense the Catholics use the term. They are a Catholic invention. He's talking about saints.
Where were you when colloquial expressions and metaphors were invented. I mean that from the "bottom of my heart". Do you think my heart has a bottom and cares about things?Thumbpicker you'd do well to listen to Von. ...Where were you when the foundations of Earth were laid?
All you can do in here is call names because you don't have the patience or actual working knowledge to form a coherent argument. Or maybe you just suck at essays and debate? You just get angry and pissed off and attack other people. You lost this argument days ago but hey, stop in for a cheap shot or two and then dip why don't you? That's VonBonfire he thinks you can pray to dead people. I don't. Dead people aren't God.
What came first, the scriptures of the church? No such thing as "saints" in the sense the Catholics use the term. They are a Catholic invention.
Those are cool but I meant in regards to the curvature of water.First thing that comes to mind; I’m sure you’ve see a Foucault Pendulum before on a field trip or something. Those demonstrate that the earth is both spinning and round. It’s simple, visual and needs no math to understand it.
Which came first, Jesus' words and teaching, the church or the scripture. What came first, the scriptures of the church?
