Some of them look like cheap CGI, the more realistic ones seem like they suffer from barrel distortion thanks to wide angle fish eye lenses creating the "ball".

Some of those, actually a lot of those, do look fake no doubt about it. But I've seen plenty that assures me the Earth is a globe.

For the photos that are real, I can understand why human beings would want the picture of their earth to look the best it can. For books, magazines, text books, ads, etc etc. Doesn't bother me.

IIRC, and I may remember wrong, is that your belief that the Earth is flat'ish is for different reasons no?

More that it can't be verified with the naked eye? At least for us non-astronauts?

Well, I give everyone the benefit of doubt as you know - so if that's what they want to believe I'm not going to stop them or try to convince them otherwise. It is probably one of the more interesting topics I've ever run into in OTC. I just have never interacted with anyone that was "pro flat" before

I see where you are going with that. No I don't believe that men and women can trade their sex like that. To me, it is more of a mental health issue.

That said, I don't think believing the Earth is flat is going to mutilate our teen and young adult population or screw up their physiology with drugs.

I think it's safe to say a man who thinks he's a woman is in sin and has mental health issues for sure.
