Proof there is a God

That top one looks like Saurons tower
It looks like a really elaborate sand castle.

I'm eagerly awaiting pics of some of the greek churches and cathedrals (and the islands of course heh heh). The Greeks were my gateway to orthodoxy. A dream of mine is to visit Athos and the Greek isles and maybe Valaam in Russia. But Athos is the inheritance of the Virgin Mary. Quite an epic story there.

I'm trying to keep it just churches, but I have a ton of photos and this is a lot of work so if I screw up please forgive me.

The pics are so big in size I couldn't email them to Von. So I'm taking screenshots of these and then uploading to imgur.com

@VonBonfire - don't have as many from Greek Islands I'm sorry. Just did not see as much. :dunno:

No worries. I will graciously enjoy any pics of churches, cathedrals, or monasteries you post, especially any orthodox ones. I am also cool with ANY pics taken in the Greek isles (long as they ain't dirty pics  ) Very glad you had such a nice trip brother. It makes me happy to know you guys had a good time and made it back safely.

That last one was taken from the ship. Tucked way up in this steep mountain side with no apparent road going to it. Saw lots of stuff like that though - donkey travel only. I have some really cool pics from Montenegro - just no more churches.
Aw dang you went to Montenegro too?!?! Any chance you hit up Budva? One of my favorite priests, Abbot Rafailo, is out of Podmaine monastery there.

Mykonos, Greece

the only one and Mykonos was super cool, I actually re-proposed to my wife and asked her for another 30 years of marriage. This Mediterranean cruise was our 30th anni gift to each other. We saved for years. I proposed at the 180 degree Sunset Bar and Restaurant.

Almost every single building was white. I forget all the colors but most doors are painted to let (ancient) people know what you can offer/barter. Blue door = shipping or fishing. Green door = veggies or food. etc etc Red may have been places of worship.

I "re-proposed" to my wife on our 30th for another 30 years in marriage. It was just symbolic. At some point tho we will renew our vows. She is my best friend.

That's really awesome. If I re-proposed to my wife like that she'd be like "I don't know if I could take another 30 years of you" LOL

I just told her what I was posting and she said that's probably what she would say, but added she'd eventually say yes.:LOL:

33 Years of marriage here. When my wife turned 40 I asked her if I could trade her in for two 20's. :p She's now 57 so I guess I get another chance at that joke when she gets to 60.
