Genocide wasn't even a word back then. SOP to conquer and slaughter and make slaves of those captured. They slaughtered the inhabitants of the land on God's orders because they were wicked, and sacrificed their infants to false gods, and would make a corrupting influence. I don't see it any differently than him bringing down all sorts of corrupted nations throughout history. When the Israelites fell into idolatry they too were slaughtered. God allowed it. Their cities were sacked, and the inhabitant survivors made slaves, exiled, and chased from nation to nation. Read the end of Deuteronomy, the curse section, and it is apparent they weren't exempt from the same treatment. God is a fair judge.

Well, as I mentioned, it's a lot of different people. But some probably are okay with it. Likewise some, if not many Americans are okay with terrorism (so long as it is state sanctioned) and Muslim hating.

Yeah, but it is genocide. I don't believe there is ever a justification. No population is a monolith. Every population is made up of individuals with differing views and behaviors.

Of course you are right with regard to nations/people not being monolithic, but at some point the leaders and governmental agents are so wicked the entire system must be brought down in order to cleanse it of corruption because the inhabitants are either not willing or not able. What you are calling genocide today was just called "making war" in ancient times. Pretty much the idea of actual war is to destroy your enemies not the world cop crap that is played today.

That may be the idea, but that doesn't mean it's moral. It's not moral to kill someone because they belong to a given population. A population includes individuals who have nothing to do with the conflict.

Any good satanist will always advocate for any religious group other than true Christianity (eg. Muslims) because it sends more people to hell that way.

War isn't moral. The whole trying to fight a moral war bullshit is how we ended up with Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan and pretty much every war since WWII. If you have decided to go to war the entire point should be to crush your enemy as brutally as possible with minimal loss to your armies.

I agree that no war is moral - for the same reasons genocide isn't moral. But at least in modern war, there is an attempt made (or claimed to be made) to differentiate the targeting of combatants and civilians. I am not making apologies for any war, but this distinction makes it less egregious than a genocide where women and children are systematically targeted.

If who has decided? This is the point. I'm not a collectivist. War is a collective endeavor. Individuals pay the price.

When my priest was setting up our parish it here in small town TX it was all the protestant churches that tried to keep him shut down so this is something I can actually agree with you on.

You would hate people that follow God's word "The Bible" which contains Jesus' and the Apostles own teachings because you feel threatened that it doesn't agree with the choices you have made. Instead you opt for subsequent man-made traditions and rituals that in some cases contradict the inspired word of God You need to think long and hard about it I think and stop attacking the messenger. Choices can be changed it's not too late. You should pray hard and seek the truth. Maybe contact a reformed Bible college and discuss it with them. Matthew 7:7 Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you

I prayed and searched for years and found everything I couldn't find in protestant faiths right there in holy orthodoxy. Be blessed.

I know you've tried to faithfully communicate the Word to me, the problem is you got it all backwards so I pretty much quit reading the entirety of your posts several pages ago. You can't address any of the points I've brought up, and monte abandoned the thread, so whatever. As I said, it was protestants who did the devil's work trying to get our mission parish shut down before it opened, not the satanists. And it was you who tried to shut me down here. You failed.
