Did I hit a soft spot tiger? I was the first to admit that I really have no business owning the amps that I do. I actually said that the 6505 will do everything I need. I know a lot of guitar players. From hacks to professional touring players to a couple of virtuoso's. None of them (that I know) would justify 7k for 1 amp. Mic'd up clips don't improve playing. Maybe I'm too fucking stupid to realize that you are the guitar god you think you are.

Nice thread. But it needs to be done and re-done and re-re-done ad nauseam at least a dozen times and again to reach proper Cameron level. The trainwreck needs to be repeated several times over the span of several years. It's a good start though.

Just an observation on my part.
There's definitely a trend I notice where people who have $4k ~ $7k amps only post audio clips recorded with a cell phone or a circa 1990's camcorder.. then post it up to YouTube where it gets compressed within an inch of it's life.
The result always sounds like a stock JCM800 with a ProCo RAT in front of it.
