Two years after the email, and after selling multiple British Purist with back grille, and still bullshitting me about ten times a year with childish excuses about how impossible was to get a back grille, then I asked him if the amp he sold me as new was actually used, because it was poorly packed, had the worst cigarette smell(took a year to get rid of), missing the back grille and power cord and the power tubes were just loose, no box, in the bottom compartment of the case. It's a miracle the power tubes didn't break. That's the excuse he needed to say he wasn't not going to send the back cover.
That's what you get from Hellbutt when you send him $7,000.00 for an amp.
He is the one that should be sucking his clients balls, for putting up with his cheap psychology tricks while holding their deposits.
People have "ZERO" respect for Larry when they buy his amps. The only reason they bend over for him while on his waiting list it's because his got their money.
But respect? No one has any for him.
Same thing goes with me as his client. Had plenty of respect for him when I first sent him the deposit of 11K for the two amps.
That respect when down the drain with when he started to lye about and started manipulating the delivery date.
So, now that I don't have a deposit with him, he can drop his diapers and shove that back panel up his hairy loose ass.
He was never going to send it anyway. But he thinks he smart enough to make me think he was going to.
Plus, I rather not get it anymore, so I can tell the story to everyone I talk about amps, and also prove I'm right when I say that he robbed me.
He is a cheap looser that would rather spend time trying to bullshit people online than building amps.

If I am reading this correctly and it seems simple enough. Larry knowingly shipped an incomplete amp missing the rear protective back grille panel for the tubes and acknowledges doing so in the email notifying the buyer of the situation and then promising to send it later. Now after asking for two years for his back panel you continue to gaslight the guy telling him here it was a "GIFT" and because Sblue is pissed at you for sending an incomplete product and now publicly decrying it so you taunt him with the back panel that you didn't and won't ship which rightfully belongs to the BRAND NEW amplifier which was sold by you. That would be like you buying a brand new Porsche and Porsche telling you we're shipping the car without the wheels center caps but we will send them later....After two years you're pissed off and you rant and rave at your local dealer demanding your wheels center caps because "Dammit you paid for them" otherwise the car is incomplete without them. The Porsche dealer then tells you because you acted inappropriately and yelled at them they are no longer going to give you the wheel center caps and to PISS OFF.

It isn't a gift Larry..... it's part of the amplifier which you knowingly sold without it. Now you won't send him the grille because he publicly had to call you out yet you try to spin it like your customer is the one with no integrity. According to this email Larry's position is not defensible in any way.

After two years I think anyone would be pissed off no matter what the price $2500.00 or $7,000.00......the amp was knowingly shipped without the back panel, imagine the uproar if Dave Friedman sent BE Deluxes with no back panels promised to ship them them and never delivered.....I imagine there would be all kinds of thread on forums just like this........:dunno:

Larry I would be the first one here to defend you but your argument isn't defensible after reviewing the attached document. Do you deny this is you in the email? If you had just sent the grille to the guy you wouldn't have to expend so much energy to obfuscate, gaslight and be less than honest regarding the subject and then threaten legal action on top of it. Yeah... I imagine you don't like the things he is saying to and about you....but all you had to do was ship the guy his REAR GRILLE for his amp of which he paid you full down payment waited patiently for for years and then paid his remaining balance in full for you to ship it incomplete.

What's funny is this kinda did happen with Porsche. Except they followed through. The 991.2 GT3RS with Weissach package is supposed to come with an exposed carbon fiber bonnet. But for some reason Porsche couldn't source enough of them. This was like a $30,000 add on for the car. And the cars were delivered to customers with the normal painted hood instead. Eventually, Porsche did deliver the carbon fiber one though. Initially, customers were mad. But they wound up getting to keep the original hood, so now they had two lol.

But... this does happen with other parts of the car. These cars normally come with really nice roll cages in EU/ROW. But in the USA, for some unknown reasons they don't come with the cage, even though it's part of the price of the package. And it's a very expensive cage. Like $10K. You pay for it, but car doesn't come with it.

Anyway... doesn't excuse this situation. Just thought it was an interesting tidbit since you mentioned Porsche.

And in the case of my first 991.2 GT3, the car arrived with wheel center lock nuts that were cosmetically damaged. They are anodized and someone at dealership washed car with acidic soap and etched the anodizing. Dealership initially refused to replace. I had to battle them back-and-forth for months to get it resolved.

I see you drive that car on the track.................You may need that cage one day.....and that day almost always comes especially at high speeds. I'm sure you have lost traction and the car goes into four wheel drift while in the apex of a curve. It's not a good feeling that's usually followed by your assend meeting your front end and if you are lucky you don't have a wall to kiss. I used to race SCCA and I've looped the car more than once because I had awesome traction until I didn't.:yes:
