I was thinking about demoing two plastic gallon size ice cream buckets with a thicker cord between them. Probably more efficient transfer of tone with the thicker cord. I might even be able to fit my head all the way into the bucket instead of just putting a cup up to my ear. Articulation and clarity. :LOL:

Reaper is my daw…..using a Behringer uphoria for my interface. Cheap but effective. Krk rocket 8’s for monitoring… using my egnater vengeance… using a microphone or going direct it sucks. Getting this super flubby bass thing occasionally. Doesn’t matter how I set the eq. I was doing a clean flat picking thing a’la “ long cool woman in a black dress “ and when I would hit the a on the 5th fret bottom string-I would start getting this gigantic flub thing… fucking insanity…. Hate this shit yo….

I don’t even know how to download the track. Where is it btw? I do have a couple plugins to try. I actually forgot about them. Tonacracy is one I believe. I will give that a try….
 
Making progress but for some reason I have so much noise… running direct. Screamer into Thor’s hammer into my ms3 into my interface into my computer with reaper. It’s working but lots of odd things are happening. Mainly on playback everything is coming out of the right monitor…. Lol… this recording shit is crazy 🤪

If you have everything on the uphoria interface setup and dialed properly, I would suggest finding the old behringer drivers and installing them on your computer without the interface being plugged in, restart and then plug in. They are a lot better than the basic audio hardware drivers that Windows will automatically install for you. Not sure if they're still on Behringer's website, so you may need to look for them on a file sharing site.

That mod was me, and as his pitbulls body entered the woodchipper, I would sample the howls of agony for Wolf Moon. Guttural. Death incarnate. No return.

That's a bit dark, but I can appreciate using analog tones whenever possible.
