This was way better than your heavy version. You are one of the shredders that don't have the best heavy rhythm chops diversity wise, I think your entire rhythm section consisted of some shit like "0---3--2--2-3--" but you can shred very well and with your use of theory you seem alot more at home with the hillbilly rockabilly twang whatever style playing & I actually found that super fuckinnnnn unique.

Definitely top 3 with that rockabilly twist. I'd encourage you to do more shit like that in fact.

**Rhythmically & overall as a whole, Dan is winning.

**If it's a shredding only contest, AssvilleSpliff has good flow there. But it's a song battle with a set drum track so everything is considered as "a whole body" of work. The leads are cool but we all know that a strong rhythm remains the heart of every good RIFF and a lead just rides on the coat tails of what is already there.

I respect the leads, very shredtastic but they aren't enough to edge out the overall TOP SPOT where it matters in this competition. 🏆


Looking forward to see what Smash does, he was inspired af seemed like, and thats usually when people write their best material.
