I actually had to go with something else, because I realized that my song needed a different tempo.
When Neil Young wrote southern man, Lynyrd Skynyrd became very irritated, and made a song to reply to it. My song is something similar; with the caveat it has more of the Neil Young Southern man anger to it. I am very excited about this project. I want to thank @DanTravis62 for inspiring it with his contribution.
I will say there is another rig-talker that inspired this song as well, though I won't tag them. I think it will become clear a little later.

I think this whole thing makes more sense if someone who hasn't already written out a song to a drum track they are using, needs to post an unfamiliar drum track that isnt participating in the actual riff parts. Or at least a better sounding one.
Dan using his own old shit is like running illegal heads on a race car when everyone else is running legal in the race & Im not too sure I'm cool with it.
And I seriously can't keep listening to that fucking snare.... Id rather just hear st anger on repeat
I'm voting for a new fresh drum track or we can all just use our own drums since that's what homeboy is doing already. Obviously

There seems to be plenty to choose from if you can download.. these would be fair since novody here tracked over it before or wrote it.
Can use half the track. Maybe find another one people agree on if this is too relaxed. They are all over youtube. I'm not playing to dans original drum track that sounds like it was programmed using a fisher price drum kit. I was born at night but it wasn't last night so let's get a fresh drum track on here that requires a fresh recording. That's the only way this makes sense to me.
As far as Im concerned a better drum track from a neutral party will be required before anything serious happens here

Why not just let whoever wants to put something up by the due date throw it up?
Then setup a poll and let the voting period be a week long?
This way everyone can put their shit up, equal amount of time to create and vote and the person with the most votes wins the prize (Larry Amplification branded thong?)
Plus imagine how much fun it’ll be to talk shit about everyone’s creative work…this forum might just implode from the brainpower generated…a guitar focused forum actually playing its instruments

I just went through PC hell on my Win7 computer to finally get an old version of Cakewalk installed...which I've never used in my life. I managed to import Dan's drum track as mp3 and now I'm figuring out how to get some riffs recorded.
I'm getting old...pfew.
