6:12 p.m. Crooks fires first shots. Crooks shot 26 seconds later.

So IF we were assuming that you have decided the assassination attempt on Trump was a conspiracy, perpetrated by more than one person ( see definition of conspiracy) possibly in government or someone having a stake in the upcoming election, the election that not very long before the assassination attempt became clear that Biden would most likely lose, IF you believed that your take would be that Trump did it. You established that yourself. I agree. That WOULD be your take. Because you operate with a very high level of confirmation bias.

I suspect it was always clear, you just needed to save face for being wrong about the definition of confirmation bias.

Rather than concluding that given the fact that Biden no longer has a chance of winning the election, someone decided to take Trump out rather than allow him to win, you would conclude Trump did it as a publicity stunt.

That is the textbook definition of confirmation bias.

Anyways, since you think that my conspiracy theory is biased, what do you think of my actual take? That it wasn’t some big operation, it was just a fucked ip individual. Is that also biased?
 
I think the bias is simply anything that supports and exonerates officialdom, polite society, institutional power and so on.
 
can’t figure out who the new guy is with 11 thousand posts, but they sure have the Trump assassination figured out

As to your last paragraph, no, that’s not inherently biased. What do you think the fucked up individual’s motivation was though ? Do you think it might have something to do with Biden no longer being viable ?

We’ve been talking about this for like 3 days now. A lot of people hate Trump. I think whoever shot at him just fucking hates him. It was the right mix of anger, mental instability and opportunity
