Show me what you’re building

Well all of those 4 are neck-thru builds. But they are not kit guitars. I have built those from scratch.
Means i turned stuff like this into the guitars you can see in the pictures:

I guess basically what a luthier is doing. However i would not call myself a luthier, just somebody who likes to make guitars as a small hobby (and strictly for self-usage) besides the hobby of guitar playing.

you should do a firebird and explorer body with a jackson headstock like from the 80s

that would be absolutely badass!

Not a big fan of the firebird but an explorer with the jackson headstock might be a nice project and sounds like a great idea.
As i understood there are a few Jackson Explorers out there (out of the custom shop obviously, probably 80s/90s)
Something like this, looks great:

But first need to finish all the other guitars before starting a new one

there are genuinely only a handful jackson ones that all came out in the early to mid 90s right when Marty Friedman was playing one.

plenty of bolt on charvel ones from the 80s that do pop up on reverb every now and then. would love to see the build if you decide to do it!

That's why I never found the body/neck blanks :(
Yeah, if you have a taste of more extreme guitars (as i do, too) you are pretty out of luck with kits. There are tons of kits for Strats, teles and Les Pauls, only a few for traditional explorers and V's but thats pretty much all of it in terms of non-traditional shapes (although one could argue that the gibson explorer and v are already "traditional" shapes by now)

Sure if i decide to build one, i can post some pics. But it will definitely take a long time. I am really slow at building stuff as this is just a small side-hobby.
