This non-chugging sissy boy did confirm in an earlier post on that 777 thread that he paid $3500!!! I am really beginning to hate Gibson. I wonder if Randall's kicking himself in the ass for selling to those dickheads?
It will be $2800 on the used market in 1 year.

I can confirm that it is $3,499.

makes me feel even better for my rev f purchase. I dont know why I assumed this would be $2500-2750. wishful thinking I suppose.

Heads up, the Recto RI goes live at GC / MF at 10pm tonight (not sure what time zone).

Great playing with some cool tones in there. Even the cleans had an interesting thing going on.

The lack of boosted chugging metal in this video isn't bothering me like it did with the IIC+ RI demos, maybe because this video is recorded well and you can hear that the amp just sounds good overall, and you can picture what it would sound like with a boost tightening it up in a way I was never really able to picture with the initial IIC+ videos.

Also, the unboosted Red lead playing there had a kind of 101B vibe, which was cool too. Not something you hear every day in Rectos.

This guy also has his small-logo Rev G out He might do a longer comparison like he did with the IIC+ RI later

It is up at GC/MF

If the clean, crunch, and high gain are all good… then it may not be a rip off.. It seems like most amps that have multiple channels and modes only have one good setting or two if you’re lucky

(I said might not be a ripoff. Not implying the price is good per se)
