Don't know if it will affect gear but sure glad I got my Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas MIM
in Pharaohs Gold before all this takes effect.......


Anyways was considering another Princeton Reverb Reissue afterwards and a good time if any to buy MIA and support manufacturing and jobs in the States ^_^
 
I'm all for buying MIA but if I buy MIA it's got to be actually quality and competitive and given that I don't necessarily buy my goods based on country of origin strictly.


Having said that I welcome the new tarrifs and think it's a move in the right direction.

You tariff our goods and now are angry that we are returning the favor. Very high tariffs on dairy and cheese. I get the protectionism but I don't get the crying when we follow suit to protect our own hand. I believe in fairness but Canada wants to get the better deal instead of a fair deal. And now you are outraged when we level the playing field.

BTW......dairy is sooooo heavily subsidized by your fucking government, it creates a massive unlevel playing field against Canadian dairy farmers.....believe me I loved buying all that dirt cheap cheese when we lived in/ visited the US.

Tens of billions a year in trade deficits for decades? We're literally around $2T poorer over the last two decades due to it. That's not to say that you or the average Canadian is responsible. Globalists are mostly responsible along with our governments and their greed. If you want to look at like this, we are worse off trading with Canada on a per capita level than with China. Basically we subsidized y'all by $1,600 per person last year and $211 per person in China in trade alone, not factoring in any other aid, loans, etc...

Right, so in other words it's ok for Canada to protect it's dairy farmers, but not us. It's wrong for us to encourage domestic drilling through tariffs on Canadian oil and gas too right? It's wrong to tariff Canadian auto parts in order to protect American auto manufacturing. You are calling me delusional but you think your 30 million population forested backwater trap line nation should be handing directives to the most powerful country in the world? Giver buddy. Believe me....I would save a ton of money if there was free trade on dairy products....much much much cheaper in US.

We are going to tarrif the oil, natural gas, electricity, etc... that you buy. Works both ways. No one wins.

The US is hated in many countries around the world , wonder why???
