I got temp banned once for saying I carry a gun when I meet people on craigslist to sell or buy stuff.

Oh yeah, I was banned for 2 weeks once for saying Hillary Clinton’s fat ankles made me sick. Called it Political speech..I argued it had nothing to do with politics. Don’t talk about their hero’s!

There’s some good conversation to be had and as long as you can laugh at the comments that earned TGP it’s reputation, it’s just gear and laughs. But with 5 moderators and thousands of members, they can’t effectively moderate shit and choose to hit the nuke button without understanding the context of a post. IE- Cliff was goaded into the post he made by one guy constantly trolling the shit out of him relentlessly, which was CLEARLY evident throughout the entire fuckin’ thread and EVERY thread Cliff posted in.

Question anything that Faucie or the CDC pushes and you'll get banned. I made a statement that I thought it was interesting that Kamala Harris came out and said "there's no way I'm taking this Trump vaccine" and as soon as Biden got in they were shoving the same vaccine down our throats. All I did was point out the political hypocrisy.

My message said that I have almost accumulated enough points for a permanent ban, I will post a thread that says the whole covid thing is bullshit. Let's see if that throws me over the edge.

A member banned from here showed up on TGP and used the same username and avatar. They were getting challenged, and confrontational and I posted a link to the thread here that ended in their banning. No obscenity or the like just full-on jerk behavior.

High Lord Scotty at TGP gave me 3-days suspension and messaged that any more links to Rig-Talk would cause a ban. He is so full of himself .......

That sucks man. I still like to participate in the Digital & Modeling forum, but am careful what I post and who I choose to interact with. I like that industry peeps from Line 6, Atomic, various IR companies and Fractal…. at least until Cliff’s ban…. would post there.

I definitely don't want the tan pants brigade coming over here ruining Rig-Talk. This is the first forum I've been to in a long time that didn't piss me off with idiotic shenanigans in the first five minuets of stopping by.
 
Here's how I got the heave-hoe - Back in 1995, I played at the 26th anniversary Woodstock Festival in Bethel, NY and was told there was no such thing by a mod. So I pulled up a few articles that talked about the festival and posted them in the thread. Perma-ban. That was about 5 years ago.

There's a recent thread over there about how great of a female vocalist Courtney Love is. Bunch of posts on how she's a classic female icon and how much they respect her as an artist. I was thinking about posting that she's nothing more than a drug addicted whore and when Cobain started to sober up a little he realized what he was married to and took the easy way out. Ya think that might be worthy enough to get a perma-ban?

This might be the most TGP thing ever.

Courtney Love is a talentless hack, that rid the coattails of actually skilled musicians (and in many cases ripped them off) to become a "pre-reality star," basically.
