Toes…toes…anything goes.Linz was a waitress when we met so her feet were all torn up
Maybe I should try again with her pampered stay at home mom toes

The farce thread was the only thing about “The Pub” that actually resembled what goes on in a real pubMoastly… but it developed into more. It will always be know as one of the greatest threads in TGP history no matter what the girls say.

He really missed his chance at stardom, he could have been typecast as Pete Davidson's stupid younger brotherHR slams a loaded 3 ring binder on the table full of his documented vape breaks
Riffi swipes it off the table because he thinks she wants to bang
I gotta admit, i was skeptical about your evaluation of some of those guys, UNTIL all that went downThem sumbitches ripped my Farce Thread off... within seconds of the Farce thread going down that copy cat thread was up and all the "girls" were in there celebrating, giving each other virtual handjobs... a coincidence, hell no they did there best to disturb the Farce!

It all started with the great update of 2017.I gotta admit, i was skeptical about your evaluation of some of those guys, UNTIL all that went down
Some of em definitely showed their true colors at the beginning of that thread
(I’m only talking about a few specific individuals, most of the guys in there are OK)
So bizarreIt all started with the great update of 2017.
That’s when TGP started to include “likes” in the software (against the recommendations of many to leave them out).
At first it was “oh cool, we can like things instead of replying “+1”.
Then someone realized it keeps a leader board of most likes. That’s when the “like farming” began. Clicks of members liking everything that their buddies posted to boost their numbers. Then came “likes insurance” threads. Threads made with the sole intent for members to regain likes they may have lost when a popular thread was deleted.
Soon enough it was engrained into the culture.
Some are still upset that I once got 161 likes on a single post.
I didn’t get into the original Farce thread due to my aversion to thread titles in CAPS but got into the barbershop thread after it hit a couple grand. I immediately wondered about similarities to shred’s original, the flow of conversations, etc and how many posts were duplicates of the original thread.I gotta admit, i was skeptical about your evaluation of some of those guys, UNTIL all that went down

Didn’t he use to get mad at people for going off topic? LolI didn’t get into the original Farce thread due to my aversion to thread titles in CAPS but got into the barbershop thread after it hit a couple grand. It’s pretty bizarre man.So bizarre
I’ve been in this internet thing since the git-go and i thought I understood internet culture pretty thoroughly
But the notion of grown men — mostly OLD men in fact —- giving a shit about “likes” — i just can’t grasp it
Agree 100% that “likes” were ultimately a destructive thing to that site especially
I think there was some policing in that thread and it wasn’t mods.Didn’t he use to get mad at people for going off topic? Lol
Those folks were definitely putting in some extra effort to keep track. It’s pretty bizarre man.
There were a couple dudes that would follow me around and not participate in threads in any way aside from liking other people’s posts that disagreed with me.
Especially the ones that the mods had put me on ignore with. Those folks were definitely putting in some extra effort to keep track.
I guess it's a weird dopamine hit used to keep folks engaged, but I turn that stinking alert off.So bizarre

I'll never look at raw bacon the same way again. Not when it had been transfigured into high art.*In my mind he’s duck footed as well as flat footed.*
So he shuffles away with his head head low, but testicles pulled high. His feet in the shape of a V; a constant reminder of what is getting rubbed together vigorously in the next room, like someone trying to start a campfire with 2 strips of raw bacon
“I wonder if this ever happened to Liam?” he thought to himself.
“Yea, I bet it did.”
“I bet it did”
You can thank Strangers With Candy. They taught the students how to “wax their bacon strips” in health class as a prep for a school dance lolI'll never look at raw bacon the same way again. Not when it had been transfigured into high art.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Pub say it was a place to "shoot the breeze"? Which is precisely what the Farce did. Damn shame it went. The farce thread was the only thing about “The Pub” that actually resembled what goes on in a real pub
It was a pretty amazing organic phenomenon and undoubtedly one of the greatest threads i’ve ever seen, on any board
I don’t think a lot of those fellows really appreciated it for what it was, or understand what was lost when it was nuked
I’m surprised the pub is still there. It was Brian’s idea to have a place to just hang out and talk about non gear things.Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Pub say it was a place to "shoot the breeze"? Which is precisely what the Farce did. Damn shame it went.
Basically, anyone with a bit of humour and banter about them is fucked as some boring cunt with no likes for their boring, no twat gives a fuck posts will harbour a grievance against them. Sitting there in their stained underpants, stinking of rotting fish, shit under their fingernails, bitterness wells like Old Faithfull, disgorging a sulphurous sputum of hate because someone got a "haha". Reported!!It all started with the great update of 2017.
