This Blue Lamp dilemma is an outrage. Not authentic
There is that..SP11 would be better...they already screwed up and who knows what else!!
Looks beefy indeed!Would have been nice to have a 100W/HRG version. But man that beefy power tranny is back!
Aside from the relocation of the presence knob (and the reverb too?), are there any (other) practical advantages to the long head format?Sadly not a long head variant
Nothing practical, just like the look of itAside from the relocation of the presence knob (and the reverb too?), are there any (other) practical advantages to the long head format?
I'm fine either way, since most of my 2*12 cabs are 24" wide, which matched both the DC-5 and Mark IVa I had. But the smaller (18.7") head fits nicely with my Mesa Thiele cabs.
It’s going to be the Rev F.It’ll be nice if they do the Dual Rectifier in this fashion. Curious if they will consider it to be a Rev F or Rev G
I'm seeing rev F in some literature. I got a IIC+ on hol dbut if I had known they were reissuing an F and not the G I wouldve ordered that. It’ll be nice if they do the Dual Rectifier in this fashion. Curious if they will consider it to be a Rev F or Rev G
i feel like if a single component value is different from the original, that its going to be a shit storm on the boogie forums.
someone will argue that its not as good if the circuit board even LOOKS different.
Are they releasing the dual rec at the same time?I'm seeing rev F in some literature. I got a IIC+ on hol dbut if I had known they were reissuing an F and not the G I wouldve ordered that.
Wide heads sound wider.Aside from the relocation of the presence knob (and the reverb too?), are there any (other) practical advantages to the long head format?

All I care about is the sound. The Mark V's IV mode was no where close to my IV so I sold it. I really hope it's not just the IIC+ circuit in the VII stripped down to a short head. As for the board layout, I don't care as long as they nail the tone. Dave Friedman created what I consider one of the best Superleads I've played through with the Plex and that is all modern PCB construction, done well.
Is that yours?
