Hey guys, shit hit the fan for me when the virus thing went down. I will 110% be back very soon, I only have one donor thats spoken for but ups isn't holding for pickup and they're leaving packages at the door without signature so I can't risk it until that is sorted out, my email is flooded with buyers and I have nothing, soon enough, Stay safe fellas!

That amp sounds great. I used to dislike his demos. Totally professionally done, but I thought that they sounded harsh and brittle. Now I love them. Some of the best out there. Did my ears change or did his recording method/settings change?

I'm thinking his recording method varies slightly from vid to vid, as do the cab and guitar he uses. The second Monomyth vid from him I thought had these weird harsh frequencies unlike his first vid (and now this one as well). Slightly different mic placement and how the amp is dialed I guess.

I really didn't like the second vid Reza did either. I've had two of these amps and I don't think that video represented my experience with either amp.

IMO you should switch to FedEx. Those butchers at UPS busted the last two out of three amps I’ve received. They cracked the headshell on the MM Marshall that you sent me, and then fucked you on the claim, AND they just DESTROYED a Mesa Mark IV combo that I took delivery of last week. I opened a FedEx account and my shipping has been cheaper, my packages arrived safely, AND they make people sign for a package if you require that. Fuck UPS.

I would love to have a two channel amp. Like a clean to crunch on one channel then the high gain channel. At any rate Im hoping to grab another one of these amps this year. I just need to grab a mesa mark iv first.

Damn...leave some for those of us who are still trying to get in on our first one

A Mark IV is next on my lists so it's going to be awhile ;)

As opposed to slightly better known peeps here and other forums that 'probably' have a decent Marshall to begin with and then modding their amp to what THEY want and having that satisfaction.

It other words, seems like a risky move :dunno:
This part didn't come out right. All I was saying was that it would seem easier for Shea to mod other peoples marshalls vs trying to buy on your own - then mod. Just the whole ...you know... dealing with people and the market in general, etc.

One thing it might reduce is shipping. With Shea sourcing the donor amp it might save a trip. Maybe it just gives him a bit more flexibility on lead time and latitude on exactly what he does to each amp.

Maybe he likes to find his own unmodded, all original donor amps in great shape, so he knows what he’s working with. I do know that I loved the convenience of buying an already modded amp, instead of having to find a donor and ship it to him.

Ive just finished this 77 jmp and made an iPhone room clip, the amp has a metro loop, new filter caps, 6550 tubes, reworked grounding scheme and elevated heaters, lots of work went into and hopefully it lands to a happy owner, thanks!

You guys are mostly right, there are issues on both sides, a lot of amps sent to me by customers have needed repair, id say 3/4 of them have had major issues, I've fixed them all plus modded them and havent charged for repairs out of kindness, this kind of model is flawed, if i source an amp that arrives with major issues its goes back or we settle, very simple. Ill probably continue doing both for now, things are getting back to normalcy on my end.

The iPhone clips are cool too

Thanks! I just got the new iPhone SE, I set the tripod where I stood when playing the amp, thats probably the best place. The plates were 400v on this amp, the lower voltages are growing on me.
