Ive just finished this 77 jmp and made an iPhone room clip, the amp has a metro loop, new filter caps, 6550 tubes, reworked grounding scheme and elevated heaters, lots of work went into and hopefully it lands to a happy owner, thanks!

Man.. is that owner a girl?? 50w?? Real men ONLY play 100w!!!
That sounds soooo good man!!! Cant wait till my wife starts screamin' "WOULD YA TURN THAT DOWN" ...
I'll bet you're gonna love it. That sounds awesome. I have a '76 50W on deck.

This is my 2nd. My other was a 100w. Your amp is gonna be epic!!! EVERYONE who has heard my amp in person totally dug it.
I would say good luck but you wont need it.. Guaranteed! LOL

What are you doing different on this one?

My First one I had specific sounds I wanted and it be extremely versatile. Lots of options, tonal variations. Shea delivered that in spades!
This one I wanted to focus on aggression and not worry too much about versatility. I basically told him to make it as aggressive as he can without a high noise floor while still retaining all the pros of the overall tone of the amp. It was a good sounding donor to begin with so I knew it would be a monster. From the clips it sounds like it so far. Cant wait to have it here and play it! Chances are my next one will just be "Here, make it sing" and thats that. After talking with Shea for a while now he reminds of Ken Fischer who was the last guy I had mod my Marshalls. No drama, no BS.. and he delivers what you want, not what he thinks you should have.

I’ve added a seperate clipping option and tweaked the circuit to be more functional at lower gain levels, working on noise floor, this amp has some voltage tweaks also for more gain I’m always listening to feedback to try to improve things from there.

Been jamming that clip a bunch. Sounds stellar!

I definitely would like to be able to do lower gain. Mine sounds absolutely fantastic for high gain but there is a section on the lower end of the gain dial thats not really usable. Once you hit about 4-5 it cooks and sounds freaking crushing.

I agree. Something like the Structure switch on the Friedmans would be cool

I have my gain maxed..Why?

BECAUSE I CAN!!!!!!
:D

Mine isn't very low gain, no matter where I set it. But, one 'mod' I do is throw a 12AT7 in V1 and boom it's a classic rock amp that can do 80s metal with the gain maxed.
This is the first modded Marshall I've owned that has usable gain with it maxed out. It's a lot, but still defined and clear.

Yeah I usually set my gain around 7-8 but today I dimed it and yeah just awesome. It just sounded thick as hell. I had a coupon for Neural DSP so I got the Cali plug in and I think it sounds really good but after a few minutes I plugged my 2204 into my captor and was much happier..

The last clip I posted has a AT7 in the pi, tweaking the circuit to have crushing but usuable gain at full boar has been my objective, I think everybody is happy with that, I want to send out keepers that are a blast to play but I’ve been focused on a wider tolerance with keeping the character.

This you've achieved in spades.
