I knew a minister/counselor who never referred to it as Planned Parenthood, he always called it Planned Fornication.

First I have to say good job with all of this @Aynirar27. You're making a whole lot of sense.

Second, great conversation without the usual bullshit. Very easy to read. Thanks for that everyone.

Third, any of you ever get out of the basement and hit a beach in the last 80 years? People there have WAY less clothing than drag story hour.

Drag story time is about promoting awareness about a different lifestyle. A Lifestyle that's harmless aside from bigots that unfairly treat those living it. Learning about different lifestyles/cultures at a young age allows people to be more accepting of them.

As for explaining the 'why' to kids.....it doesn't need to be anything more than "because the person finds it enjoyable". Same for anything. Why do we like to play guitar? Why do people like to paint? Why does my wife enjoy constantly rearranging the fuckin house every 6 god damned months!? There's no real answer for any of it besides it's something person X enjoys. It doesn't harm anyone so who cares?

Nobody can make anyone gay or drag if it's not something that person actually enjoys so that argument is null and void. Sure SOME weirdos might try but there is no indoctrination as far as drag/gay is concerned IMO.
