What we really want is a hyperspace pedal.
The quote, supposedly from Michael Wagener who produced the Album:I remember reading that too. Something about having it hidden. They had the luxury of trying all kinds of stuff with budgets and time.

If i were 30 years younger i might say "maybe" but at this point abandon ye all hope who enter here.
I find the "internet generation" about 75% more dense than the JFK Boomers.
E Musk's rockets blow up paid for by US Taxpayers. Sounds like a "sound" investment strategy.
I'm old too. I was just making random stuff up, lol. I'm going to be 55 years old this year which blows my damn mind....Being an old fart, I have no idea what to make of your post. LOL

TAKE MY MONEY!!!
That would be the only reason for me, I had one in the early 80's that I thought was cool (everybody had Sony Walkmans back then) but not very good sounding. Used original ones from that era are selling for over $500. I may get the new Rock or Metal Ace unit for shits and giggles. $100 is not outrageous for nostalgia but I wouldn't shell out $230 for the X100.idk who wants this in 2025 besides maybe novelty for 80s guys
This. I, like most, am stuck in a “decade”. Atari, neon guitars, big hair, Dokken, fast times at ridgemont high, and a bag cell phone. I still dress up in 80s outfits occasionally so no one talks to me in public. It seems like gen X’ers must be now coming into money and buying things that remind them of their younger days, which I guess is a thing from studies I’ve read. Things like bmx bikes, which I literally had a garage full of from my parents friends just giving me cause their kids grew out of them, are going for thousands of dollars now
With SMD....... anything is possible Silly Rabbit.![]()
Then that would be the "Guitar Ace" circuit which is not the X-100.
The guitar ace version IMO is pretty crappy.
No way getting these boards / circuits in that size pedal.
You're not getting the TI op amps or Reticon chips either where the majic happens.
But hey most folks too dumb to know.
The real Rockman's have a unique +6 / -6 DC power system plus 8 AA battery operation.
ah the good ole days gone forever.
