History doesn't work like that. Should Israel cede the Golan Heights back? When you voluntarily transfer by sale, barter or gift.
Don't think politics and religion are allowed even in the Pub. Unless it's mainstream approved but that's another discussion.TGP is silent on this issue
So might makes right?History doesn't work like that. Should Israel cede the Golan Heights back?
Absolutely not. That's like asking for an easy kill rocket attack.History doesn't work like that. Should Israel cede the Golan Heights back?
So might makes right? That's an interesting question about Golan. You could argue no, becuase it was captured during an act of agression, but on the other hand, go back to the question of the founding of Israel.

The Hebron massacre was the killing of sixty-seven or sixty-nine Jews on 24 August 1929 in Hebron, then part of Mandatory Palestine, by Arabs incited to violence by rumors that Jews were planning to seize control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.[1] The event also left scores seriously wounded or maimed. Jewish homes were pillaged and synagogues were ransacked. Some of the 435 Jews who survived were hidden by local Arab families,[2] although the extent of this phenomenon is debated.[3] Soon after, all Hebron's Jews were evacuated by the British authorities.[4] Many returned in 1931, but almost all were evacuated at the outbreak of the 1936–39 Arab revolt in Palestine. The massacre formed part of the 1929 Palestine riots, in which a total of 133 Jews and 110 Arabs were killed, the majority of the latter by British police and military,[5] and brought the centuries-old Jewish presence in Hebron to an end.
The massacre, together with that of Jews in Safed, sent shock waves through Jewish communities in Palestine and around the world. It led to the re-organization and development of the Jewish paramilitary organization, the Haganah, which later became the nucleus of the Israel Defense Forces.[6]
The whole Israel situation is all very complicated but what isn't complicated is the Hamas actions are outrageous and I look forward to Israel managing it as they see fit.

Why? Israel attacked the region many times.Israel needs to level Gaza. Been awhile since the last carpet bombing; I'm sure they have a few B-52 around somewhere.
As the saying goes: f*ck around and find out.
Will try to find some papers later.Got links to info? I'll check 'em out. Might not be able to read them today, though.
