He’s a unique player. Good for him. The world needs new and different rock stars that people over 30 don’t get.

Yup. I am 50 and totally get it, evolution, like it or not, it was always there and will always be.

I play 80's trash mostly and my son plays Polyphia and Periphery and all that crazy music that i can't even start to comprehend. But I sure as hell know that they are amazing musicians and enjoy the music and listen to it a lot.

Jimi Hendrix redefined guitar, Eddie did also, Malmsteen, now these guys. Give credit where credit is due.

Give me a name or two? I tried them out before but couldn't get into it, but maybe I tried the wrong songs. What's their best jam that a hard rocker might enjoy?

I dunno that i’d really describe any of their stuff I listen to as hard rock, but I really enjoy “Finale” and “Champagne”

It’s like more modern sounding Satriani type music

Wake me when he gets his sex change and switches his name to Tiffany. :emofag:

I'm sure many men here will be eagerly subscribing to his OnlyFans... just for the hot-guitar-licks of course. ;)

In an effort to offset the open homosexuality of this thread, I present:

My God the closeted homosexual discomfort and resentment that this kid brings out of you guys is off the charts. Show us on the 🍑 where he bruised your masculinity, or just come out already ffs.
I bet he’s forgotten more pussy AND theory than 90% of the guys here have ever had or known.
Nevermind that this is a guitar forum, and like his playing or not, the kid is a phenom of the highest order and his chops are horrifying. But by all means continue with your clever soy and femboy comments if it gives you comfort, even though you’d trade a kidney and your firstborn to be 10% as wicked as he is. :hys:

No he doesn't..............
Sure he doesn’t…
If there were anybody on RT that could touch that kid on guitar, we’d know about it.
And you know why that is? Because he spends all his time playing guitar, not discussing guitar.

Those two aren't bad. Not really something I'd listen to a lot, but enjoyable.

Ha, I'm 62 . . I saw Polyphia and Chon at the Paradise Club in Boston 5-6 years ago and it was 1 of the best shows I've seen out of many hundreds. Great great musicians in both bands, and surely styles we didn't grow up on, but that's what makes it fun and interesting
