Yes we had quarantine and biosecurity laws. Quite sensible. We even had biosecurity and quarantine before Covid under normal circumstances. You don't let people with serious infectious diseases run amok in the population that is uninfected. Unlike other places where you have no border controls at all.

As for offensive - I find it offensive and unreasonable to support dictators that brutally attack their neighbours. I also find it offensive to the 1.64 million people that died in the US to dismiss COVID as just a seasonal flu. I find it incomprehensible that anyone could believe the moon landings are fake or that the Earth is flat. God knows what other garbage is spouted off here.
