I must say that I end up playing my Rev 2 way more than my Twin Jet. Maybe it's a sign...

Maybe someday! I haven't been playing all that much lately anyway...
 
I love 'em all, but honestly - the TJ has a special place in my tone-heart... I like it a lot.

Sure, the Uber.Green/Rev.1 is incredible, but I really do dig the TJ's tone and, um, in the sense of "ubers out there", its versatility.

Just my HUMBLE opinion....but I've not been near my amps for 14+ months :cry:
 
The Twin Jet nails it for playability and versatility (as far as Ubers go), but the Rev 2 has a special tone that I haven't heard elsewhere. I have KT88s in the Rev 2 now and the player-friendly factor has gone up. Channel 1 also sounds a lot better with KT88s- more clear and chimey. Channel 2 is more aggressive and articulate, but lacks those weird mids that the EL34s give.
 
Leilb10, I agree with you. I luv the KT77 on the Rev2. If you want a dryer tone tighter and more agressive go with the EH 6CA7 Power tubes.
