Wasn't sure if this was posted already. This thing sounds ferocious. The more I listened, I wasn't sure how I felt about the mid-range, possibly a little grainy but overall it sounded pretty fantastic.

Uberschall and I have a love hate relationship…I want to love it but it hates my hands

I remember the first time I played one and immediately thought…jerry Cantrell used this flub monster on Boggy Depot?!

Sounds good, but Michael is great at making them all sound good. I never know what it would sound like for me but thats the beauty of well mixed Youtube clips. I like his clips as he has the perfect mix of playing and tones, and also talking it through.

the opening clip had a big size but it wasn’t congested, which I like.

I think that he did a pretty good job of tweaking the knobs to get a decent feel for what the amp is about.

I had an Uber revision blue before my Helios.
It did drop tuned metal stuff like no amp I've ever had.
Sounded very brutal.
The problem I had was the volume difference between the 2 channels.
I'm not sure how much different the ultra is then other ubers?
It sounds pretty ferocious to me !

Micheal does an awesome job with his videos. I am really interested in the features in the amp and how they work.

While I respect Nielsen for his vast skill set
& production skills, -BIGTIME,
This amp is not the right amp for him to demo.
Why?

-his attack does not feed the FIGHT.

Honestly, all the new stuff I’ve been hearing,
-I’m glad I’m not wishing away and spending
all that time money.

I think Boggy Depot was an XTC and a few other amps blended in, I remember seeing an SLO in studio/tour pics. I think the Uber came out in the early 00’s, I’ve got a Rev2 serial 220 and the transformer is dated 2002. I think first album he used an Uber on was Black Gives Way To Blue.

Wel that would explain my confusion lol

Terrible sounding amp. Can’t distinguish one chord from another. All scritch and white noise.
He does good vids as is this one…good vid of a terrible amp.

I do think the right beast can get that thing rippin’ shit up.

Am I rough enough, ain’t I tough enough?
Am I rich enough?..
Never, never, never, never, never, never….be….

(Referring to the amp is a ‘beast’ & eventually
a burden, fyi).

Damm dat synergy 6505, two weeks ago, ate this bogner for lunch...

Why is it so scrachy...?? Are those supposed to sound this way...??

Bogners are like SLO’s, highly regarded but yet I’ve never known what albums they are on exclusively nor have I ever even really seen a full bogner live rig :dunno:
