I wish I could tell you, but I honestly have no idea haha. That’s a question for a luthier or someone experienced there. Of course it’s all the sum of the parts and I can give plenty of examples of a specific poly guitar sounding better than a specific nitro guitar, but when the specs are otherwise similar, the poly usually becomes more clearly exposed of what it’s doing (suffocating the wood). This is just an area where I’m very opinionated. It really should be unacceptable for an expensive guitar to use poly. It’s cutting corners imo at the expense of toneI hear ya...but...whats the good or bad nitro...I have a MJT body that is nitro but not a guitar yet...
