The only thing that I would comment on and that would be for my personal taste ,is the bottom end seems a bit loose. Other then that it the Shiaaat!!!

And you're right about the bottom being a bit loose. That SHALL BE ADDRESSED! LOL!

I made it. It says Hair Guitar on it. I drew that picture. Came out looking like EVH in the early days... LOL!
It's a musikraft neck and body.

The amp sounds great too. The bottom does sound a tad loose but not bad. I like the grind and percussive tone you're getting.

Thanks for checking it out. Yeah the bottom end is kinda loose, I looked at the settings and I had it up around 4 which is where I usually run it with an OD pedal. The OD pedals tighten the low end a bit. I should have ran it at like 0 or 2 but hey... You get the idea...

Sounds really great. The zeners do grate on you after a while. I find myself playing the added tube stage in the Friedman, HBE, more than the Diodes. They do have their place so it is nice to keep them on a push pull. Keep tweaking until your happy with the sound and feel, forget what us jokers think!

I just couldn't get the fizz out of it. Maybe there's a trick to smoothing them out, but I'm getting results I'm happy with without them so why bother right?

Hey man...
It started off as the One Wire Mod, but its not really practical, so I wired it up like 2203. It's only a couple wire changes. They're essentially the same amps.

Were you running small caps accross the diodes?

That was a great sounding clip.
To me I like my metal.....
but my TRUE sound is that crisp edge 80's EVH tone.
And you copped it well on that amp my friend.

If I could choose one tone it would be a great rock tone like that.

Like to hear it when you finish it up as you mentioned.
