How do you tune your guitar?
I’ve been playing in a tuning I call Black Zep. DADGAD but down 1/2 step to C#G#C#F#G#C#. Heavy and exotic.What ever my Snark clip on tuner tells me
Drop C which is not C standard

It’s C#sus4 tuning. 1st, 4th and 5th scale degrees.That’s pretty much open C#. Burden in my hand and a lot of other Soundgarden is in that tuning.
Isn’t the only difference the F#It’s C#sus4 tuning. 1st, 4th and 5th scale degrees.
Open C# is a major triad w/ R,M3,5.

Ok. So the only difference is the F# is an F, right ?F# is the 4th scale of the C# major scale.
Suspended chords don’t have a 3rd. It’s Root,4,5 or Root,2,5.
Open C tuning exists in several flavors of C major triad - some combination of C,E,G. ie… CGCGCE.Ok. So the only difference is the F# is an F, right ?
