If you could pick one to round out that missing tonal paintbrush...

  • Acoustic

  • Traditional Fender or Gibson (Strat, Tele, LP, SG, etc...)

  • Vintage Pointy (Explorer, Traditional V)

  • Modern Pointy (RRV, KK, Warrior, Warlock, Kelly, etc...)

  • Traditional Superstrat (Charvel, Jackson, EVH, HH Strat, etc...)

  • Pointy-ish Superstrat (Dinky, RG, Modern, etc...)

  • Hollow/Semi-hollow

  • Baritone

  • Modern 7+ String

  • Bass

If you can't get a tone from these, something is wrong. Ibanez Jazz Box, Telecaster, Stratocaster, Les Paul, '61 Les Paul SG.

I have a nice LP, strat, tele, semi-hollow, acoustic, & a few shred guitars that are all keepers.

From the list, a traditional pointy would be nice. I had a Flying V that I wish I’d held onto, and an explorer that’s been haunting me for years that I sold foolishly.

I’d also like a nice p90 guitar; been eyeballing heritage 530’s & Gibson sg jr’s for a while now.

I paid like $700 for mine right before Covid and was minty. Things have changed.

JK. It was nice and I kinda wish that I didn't sell it because the guy I sold it to called me all the time for months asking things about it like the case lock code and what pickups and just got repetitive until I finally snapped and told him to leave me TF alone, sorry your wife left you, but it's 3am please quit calling me... No joke on that part o_O

I don't think he was a creep so much as drunk, depressed, and lonely. But I met him for like 15-20 minutes in Tacoma and he had all sorts of weird collectibles he was trying to trade for the guitar. Like a suit of armor. Which, I secretly did kinda want. :ROFLMAO:
 
If I had to widen the tonal palette instead of just having another fun guitar (Which would be an Explorer), it would HAVE to be a Baritone.

I have been playing bass for 22+ years at this point and guitar for 20+, would be nice to merge them together a bit more. I have a 7 string but it doesn't quite do the trick.

Bari is definitely on my list.

Would trade you for a suit of armor, though.
Preferably something with wings on the boots.
So, I can finally go back and beat Faxandu on NES.
