I try really hard to stay out of political and religious conversations but I am so disappointed in so many of the replies here. What century do we live in where we are so offended by someone's lifestyle and/or sexuality? Dylana is an amazing musician and amp builder. She shares her knowledge and expertise with an industry we all love. What does it matter if she was Jamie before and Dylana now? Do you choose to let it bother you or can you just move along? She is much happier now than before. I spent 23 years in my first marriage because I tried to be something I wasn't and was fearful of living authentically. I couldn't be happier now that I have decided to live in a way that makes me happy. I was in a Christian religious leadership position for over 10 years. I tried so hard to give it all I got but felt like I was living someone else's life. I divorced after 25 years from my first wife as I felt like I couldn't do it anymore. I received so much hate and fire from family and friends over my decision based on religion. Religion is the part of my divorce and separation that caused me the most pain and anguish for all involved. My kids were much more resilient than I thought they would be. 5 years removed from my divorce and I couldn't be happier. I married a woman that is also a musician (a professional violinist that teaches 50 students and plays with the Utah Symphony). I lost every friend I had in my previous marriage because I didn't just put my head down and not worry about my own happiness. I have 2 of my 4 children that have come out in the same time period as gay and I couldn't be happier for them and the courage they have displayed. They took my lead by watching their father go through a very difficult situation with no family and friend support to find happiness. I am so disappointed to see we still live in a world where these types of situations are still considered immoral or wrong. Dylana is an amazing amp builder that contributes positively to an industry we love. What the fuck does it matter how she lives her life? You don't like it? Don't buy her amps. If you feel like buying her amps supports her lifestyle then you should think more about it all. You have no idea how large amp manufacturers or boutique owners live their lives or the decisions they make and if they line up with how you live your life. It's unfortunate a company like 3rd Power (and any other company) has to be viewed this way.

I will not post about this again but I fully support others like Dylana and anyone else that lives an authentic life despite the uninformed thoughts of others. I'll move along now. I didn't post this to offend but to inform and support. At the minimum, let people live and you worry about yourself.

Then give me an hour or two and I bet I can find members of that organization who were sexually/physically abused, brain washed, or disgruntled because they gave their life savings away to some Messiah who was self proclaimed. I'm ready to receive your wisdom, lay it on me or else you have nothing more to add to this than INTERPRETATION.

The real question here is why you think you can even pose a valid argument when you're totally uneducated on the subject matter. You've obviously never studied the bible so why try to debate something you know nothing about?

You never studied theology, geology, archeology, anthropology, geography, biology, or genetics so where on earth do you get the idea you can debate any of that? You've never studied ancient manuscripts or languages. You don't have the geological, anthropological, or archeological knowledge to confirm origins and traditions to compare them with the texts. I obviously made that quite clear, simple, and evident in previous replies you skimmed over. I have already answered all of your dumb questions in depth, so learn how to read. You say stupid things like "some Messiah who was self proclaimed," even though Jesus Christ was witnessed by over 500 people for 40 days after crucifixion, documented historically by other cultures worldwide, and even acknowledged in the Islamic religion. For the record, I never said anything negative or disparaging about that Dylana person. If anyone denigrated or insulted them then it certainly was not me. In fact, I had no idea what the "controversy" being mentioned early in this thread was about until I looked it up. In fact, I never said anything bad about the company or it's products. The reaction of people here has been utterly ignorant and totally presumptuous.

If you want to talk about what century we live in, then it's a world of ignorant reactionaries who cannot understand anything that is actually said but automatically go off on some offended rampage based on totally made-up, fictitious narratives. They have no idea what they're talking about because they just made ignorant assumptions about things I said, one fed off another, and digressed into some kind of savage mob.

Hey, if you want to chime in then at least find out what was actually said before judging. If you only consider what has been said in the fictitious backlash then you're not contributing anything sensible or truthful. I did nothing wrong and all the vulgarity and hatred come from things I never, ever said. They just made it all up and started slinging crap my way.
