I think it goes like this.
James calls Bogner and he has a problem, things are off and he's
Not sure what to do ?
Bogner suggests a shim.
The rest is history welcome Dylana Nova.
Problem solved.

Im kinda curious about the citizen gain amp…Anyone try it ? I recently bought one of the mag frag pickups , it’s actually very good.
Yes, I remember now. That was the channel-switcher I really liked was called the Citizen Gain CSR I think. It had a very good clean channel and great overdrive. Not too sure about mid-gain tones but sounded pretty versatile.

Kitchen Sink!

Christ, really, spelling, that’s your play. Sorry the stupid Apple auto populate got me as I was typing quickly and I didn’t catch it. You came in with a flippant attitude towards the company and seem to have the time to waste on here, to possibly get, or not get any pertinent info, when in less time you could visit their website and find out for yourself. But shit, you’re such an “advanced” professional with no time to waste so what are you even doing on here? The only thing you’re advanced in is being a douche.
You should have responded that you are a professional with an advanced career and many responsibilities outside of work. Spell checking is one thing, but it's easier to post a response and hope that could use logic to understand what you're trying to convey. :D

I could care less about one's life choices, however, I reached out to them regarding pickups and never received a response. I moved on and never looked back.

The Magfrag Riot Bucker is worth checking out, I am somewhat of a pickup nut. Having tried most of the boutique and 'regular" brand pickups out there they def bring their own unique thing to the table thats very good. I had success with them by email , maybe try again ? They only have a few models I just placed an order on the website and things went smooth. Also got a confirmation email , etc.

Ive got the MagFrag Riot Studio in Bridge and Praxxis in Neck of my Les Paul.... loving 'em. Also heard back from Dylana very quickly.

I've owned a Kitchen Sink combo now since 2019. My favorite amp ever. I have played so many gigs with it and constantly get compliments on my tone. The company is still going strong. Dylana is great to deal with as well.

Heard nothing but good things about their products.

I've played a couple of them, citizen gain and kitchen sink, and thought they were nice.

Would probably not buy one new, just because of the depreciation though.

Good to know but I was skeptical because I've done a lot of magnet and coil swapping and not sure if magnets in such close proximity really impart specific tonal character. Also, I don't know anything about CAD winding but premium pickups are usually handwound/scatterwound for good reason. Everyone has their take on the vintage-modern PAF thing so I'm just not sure they're worth the price considering there's nothing established in the pickup realm to validate them.

However, I think 3rd Power has quality products so I wouldn't be surprised if the pickups are good. I was just saying I'm a little skeptical. Now their amps, I know they're well-built and sound great so at least there's that.

Checked Reverb
Two new Kitchen Sink heads at $4,300
Used:
one at $2,700
two at $3,200
all mint

Learned a long time ago to not buy really gourmet builder stuff new.
Guitars or amps.

That's not really true all of the time, though.

Lots of boutiquey builders retain their value pretty well, and many exceed their original price. Supply and demand.

When the gear depreciates that much, it's because the demand isn't as high as the supply.

Check out used prices for Cameron, Larry, Nik Huber, Shishkov, etc.

They're all way above their original cost.

I agree that many gourmet guitars and amps don't hold their value, but it's hardly a rule.

Ugh. I preach not to use broad brushes and then I get smacked across the face with one.

You are absolutely right.
Both the custom order guitars I had built turned for profits. (Thorn and Briggs)

I liked the look of the triangle cabs, IIRC it was WDW rig? I remember there was one in white tolex, 3 cabs and the two heads in a pyramid form

edit: this one!

Then there was DAR amps with those unique Russian military tubes, around the same time IIRC:

They made square 3x12 switchback cabs for awhile with their patented triangle wave thing... I have one, sounds great.

Well (she now) rips pretty good. Looks more convincing now too which is tough for dudes and less for gals becoming dudes. I probably shouldn't laugh at the jokes earlier in this thread as I have a trans niece but they were pretty damn funny. Comedy is comedy people. Can't be an easy life, I don't know how my nephew to niece is doing it but if she's happy, that's all that matters. It doesn't make them of any less value because of their life choices. We shouldn't forget that regardless of the jokes.

I always question the silly names they come up with but the skill doesn't lie. Got some DeMartinni style phrasing here.
