I can see the Barrang thing as part of evolving his business; however, why is he waiting for Barrang on work that needs to be done now that are existing customer financial obligations not related to Barrang? You simply don't link new business strategies with operational capabilities like manufacturing, financials, and selling/delivery product to paid customers that require delivery. Use Barrang on his new customers rollouts, not existing orders. Besides, how in the world would another business go into an agreement with him without him paying them upfront? Is he eating his profit margin against the 3K paid per customer? How is that defined for existing obligations?

Dude! He has been doing this in one form or another since day 1. He is borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, but Paul finally woke up and is not lending money anymore. Now the people with new orders are not getting what they paid for BECAUSE THERE IS NO NEW MONEY TO BUILD THE OLD ORDERS! Mark is soliciting people for Money to try and get this new Barrang thing up and running. I have a CCV and its the best amp I have ever played. I bought it on the used market because I know better than to deal with Mark. I learned my lesson by dealing with him years ago. I really feel bad for you guys and I hope you get what you paid for or your money back. I just cant believe none of you have done anything about this. Its not hard to get his contact info and even if you live far away make a few phone calls to the right legal authorties to get things settled.
YOU GUYS NEED TO GET TOGETHER AND DO SOMTHING ABOUT THIS! Its frigging disscusting already what this guy is getting away with.

By the way im not talking bad or down to anyone here. I hope no one takes it that way. I really feel bad for what you guys are going through. If there is a way I could help let me know (And no im not buying anyones spot in line. LOL...). The thing that baffles me is how any guys that are interested in buying a CCV could send Mark money knowing all the shit that he pulls.

Dave I love you like a brother, but this pot needs to be stirred. This pot needs to be spilled out and broken. The right thing has to be done already! Its complete bullshit and needs to be over already. I had a dog in this fight when I told one of my close friends to trust mark and send him the money for an amp that was supposed to be done already. Well 8 months later and he still has no amp. Mark lied to me and inturn made me feel like I lied to my friend by telling him to get involved. The fact here and it seems like people are affraid to say it because they as it was said to me "dont want to burn any bridges" is that Mark my friends is a fucking lying thief. When he needed money to pay his rent he was calling me 3 times a day to sell me an amp. If I called him he picked up his phone on the first ring. As soon as my buddy sent him the money for the amp we didnt here from him again. To me this is the scum of the earth. I have 2 kids a daughter 12 and a son 7. You can ask them what thier dad hates the most and they will tell you a liar and a thief. Here my friends you are dealing with both.

Good luck guys. I'm glad I never sent Mark money when he was calling me every day too. He's a great talker but I had the feeling that something wasn't quite right and never went for it. Now I hear all the horror stories.

The other thing that amazes me is that Mark doesnt even bother posting on here to try and straighten things out or even give any updates on progress. (Or should I say lack of progress) To me that is just admitting guilt and also saying that he just cant justify his doings to any of this to the guys with orders. I know he comes on here when he was a moderator (Of course he wont log in) to delete any negative posts.

Dave's a good guy. He gets frustrated and sometimes it shows. He was being hopefull about Cameron Amplification. It's not a good sign for the guys who are suffering because of this. The only hope Mark has is to sell his designs to an already successfull manufacturer. That's it. Make it part of the deal that his wrong doings are made right in the name of decency. The unfortunate part is that he will never do that. He's too selfish and would rather die than sell off his precious designs. Truth is he owes allot more to other builders than he will ever give credit for. I have no dog in this fight. But you know what. I do! We all do because decent hard working human beings are being hurt. When a person has caused this amount of hurt, I become angry because it just as easily could have been me. I'm not kidding when I say I have seen people almost killed for much less. Tremendously Sorry for you guys.

I'm not sure getting on a plane will do any good either at this point, even if you did know where he lived.. If its true that he's completely broke, no amount of legal judgements, class action lawsuit threats, or anything else will do any good....just throwing more money away. The courts ( if it went that far) would agree that, yes he owes you the amp or the money, but if he has neither then what? He probably doesn't really own anything that could be seized, so that's out.I doubt there's any kind of income that could be garnished. You can't physically beat it out of him, that would be counter productive (although, I could see how people would want to). If people sent money by wire over state lines, maybe that would be fraud? I do know people have written off bad debts or losses as far as the IRS is concerned (forgiven debts) that would then be considered a gift to those who were paid and thus he would be liable for the taxes on it. But again, if he has nothing, then what. I do agree that all the money that was taken with the promise of delivering a product and then not doing so would probably constitute theft and punishment would be justified. What that punishment would be, I'm not sure...perhaps chained to a bench 24/7 building amps! Not a good situation for sure...which is really a shame because he really is so talented. As far as other investors...I don't know who would get involved with him just because of all the previous baggage/liability. Seems like one way out would be for him to sell the design/rights to the ccv/ccm voluntarily (or by court order perhaps) and use the proceeds to pay EVERYONE back that was owed.

I've tried to contact Mark 3 times at 818-799-4431 in the last 2 weeks, and no luck, never took the phone. I left a message in the answering machine on the first call.
Can someone please meet him? At least to know "his version" of the current state. I'm trying to be positive, because it's hard to admit you're about to loose 3k, or if not loose, send it to "limbo" for an indefinite period of time.
