I've said it 100 times already @Techdeth but hope it lands safely and you give us some killer clips.

So where does the Purist sit in the field of amps? Tone wise? The name almost sounds Fender'ish. Not sure why though
I’ll soon find out !

hope they do a better job of transporting the amp than your family friendly thrash metal delivery service

dammit, I saw a pic, and thought the thread was about to explode. Instead, a guinea pig. WTF man!

gotta admit, he is cute though.

You mean you don't even know what you are buying?

helps with cooling a bit though maybe a bit sketchy if you have animals roaming around lol.

I have about 5 amps the back panels are off of all of them. Not for cooling per say - but so I can quickly see and replace preamp tubes if needed. I hate taking a back plate off every time. Now if I gigged an amp, that would be different. Also, outside of the power tubes getting hot, there is nothing in there that will electrocute you while it is on. You can actually touch the tubes (tho hot) and the trannies etc. I've replaced preamp tubes while the amp is on. PSA: Not telling everyone to go do that if you don't know what you are doing.

I'm embarrassed to say how ocd I went. I have one amp setup to jam with friends. The rest have all the back panels off, with those little usb fans blowing over the tubes.

I watched a Bonamassa vid with his touring amps, and the OCD kicked in.
