Why I like amp fests

Or a cab takes it better that they are using
Even that part baffles me a little bit (pun intended lol), but I guess maybe through say the mix of V30’s with Creamback H75’s (which I hate btw) I can see maybe the Uber’s more low mid dominant character maybe being more agreeable there, but for me at least the filtered, sterile character overshadows so much of the experience playing through it. Amps like that just aren’t fun for me or motivate me to be a real gearhead

I have an Ubercab. It’s a really good cab, but I find it to be one of those cabs that hasn’t changed its overall sound much even with radically different speakers (almost an EMG effect). I’ve changed the stock V30/T75 cross to all Fane F90’s, now JBL’s K120/E120 mix. It just has its sound either way that is very fat and dark and would work well with the Hell Razor. Didn’t even try the UU with it when I had it, but probably would’ve hated that combo

I dont think that is the mix we were using for the uber ultra. @RedB4Black what speakers were used there?

We were using the stock Ubercab with v30/T75s and stock Fryette fat bottom cab with Fane F70s

Both front loaded

Also. We compared my OG griffin superdrive with the newer one, and the circuit couldnt be different. People have reached out to me about my sd1, so we needed to have a comparison. I brought the new circuit home, and left mine with @RedB4Black to see if i would jive with the new blackout version. I will report back tomorrow

There was a big difference between the new one and old one. I wanted more bass cut out of it like my actual SD1,the older version gave me that, the newer didn’t. Was happy to swap! Love the older one.

Also, anyone that doesn't like to wear boots when playing a recto...that is loose butthole. @ChuggNorris @VonBonfire @DanTravis62

My homework assignment for you is to see if the OG superdrive dethrones that bad ass 66 pedal

@Flavatrocious and @RedB4Black are fucking monster players. The guests that were not RT community were awesome as well. I am pedestrian, but they still treat me like people. But that fucking riff he is playing in that video is so fucking Sick. I am so glad I got it on video, so i can dissect it. Very simple, but so effective. THAT is the type of music I want to be playing.

You guys really missed an opportunity, not having braintheory participate via Teams on a big screen TV so he could shit on everything in real time.
Honestly we were too distracted to do something like that. But it would have been fun
