Today's list: I have to do my Sunday volunteer thing at the old folks home, a buddy is going to drop over and we're doing a little gear swap (temporary). He's got a Suhr guitar and a Friedman Pink Taco II I want to try. In return I'm loaning him a couple interesting guitars - a Les Paul and a Tele. He's a Tele guy. I'm a Les Paul guy.

Then the usual weekend things I didn't do yesterday cuz I went golfing. You know the drill - the honey do list.

I never ever feel comfortable playing a Les Paul sitting down or standing up. I have a couple but they collect dust. I used to DESPISE Teles but one day the penny dropped and I'm now a fan. Still hate them standing up and playing them but sitting down I like them. Working the tone knob is the trick to them. I started on Les Pauls and made a SUPER TOUGH one year long transition to Strats and have never looked back. They aced it in 1954......amazing. Good to hear and know you're helping the old folks......................well done.
