I didn't know her personally, but many here did. We're in the San Bernardino mtns in southern California. Not too many towns up here.... Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs and Big Bear Lake. The rest is tiny villages. The population of the village I live in is 300 people. Word travels fast up here. The vigil for Lauri has been postponed until the family is ready. The communities up here have rallied behind the family. I can't imagine what they're going through. She's survived by her husband and nine children. So you knew her personally? Sorry bro...that's gotta be tough. We see these things on tv but when it happens to someone you know, or where you live...really strikes a chord down deep.
The info on the murderer has been released to the public by the San Bernardino County Sherriff's Dept. His name was Travis Ikeguchi. He was a nut case on steroids. For example, he believed that in the future it would be necessary to kill Law Enforcement personnel. Well, when they tracked him down he refused to surrender and fired several shots at the Deputies. They shot the son of a bitch dead. He also believed that Pearl Harbor was a military inside job. The first post on his Twitter page is a pride flag on fire. Many of his Twitter posts are just plain nuts and his Gab page is even crazier.
