Zuul vs Endless blockade

I think the best gate is no gate. Zuul was close. And it can work real well for certain applications. I have a phalanx i can send you, madnotez

I like the Phalanx more overall since it’s more natural imo and less colored (it’s I believe back in production, while the Golem isn’t), but the Golem’s color imo can be nice sometimes for modern metal and it has the fastest gate for stop-start stuff that I’ve heard so far in a gate pedal. Faster when compared to also the cockblocker I had and Donner Sophgate (that was awful lol). I had a Duality also, but didn’t keep it

Honestly I don't mind a little color. I remember using the G string2 and it gave it a little extra something.

I don't necessarily need super fast gating. I don't play djent or anything like that. I feel the Endless blockade can certainly do that as the gate setting I'm on is maybe 60%

My biggest thing with a gate is for it to kill the noise while not cutting off the notes at all.
