Been running my stock KT-77s that my VH4 came with. I always have to cut a sizeable amount of low end out during mixing to get it to sit with the bass and kick. Thinking about switching to EL-34s to shave some of the low end, which is what I believe the amp was originally designed for. As much as I love those sub lows in the room when playing alone, it doesnt play nice in a mix. Has anyone compared EL-34s and the JJKT-77s in their VH4?
