I was assuming you were having trouble Replying based on this comment :dunno:

sorry @japetus not meant for you. I haven't yet figured out how to combine a reply to a reply. my bad.

You might be thinking of other forums (software) where the replies are copied into a huge trail? Like the old days. I just couldn't figure out why you were Replying to yourself. It looked like you were arguing with yourself.

If you have changed Christianity from the one set out in the Bible then what religion are you really following? Just asking for a friend.
So are icons heresy or not? Because the iconoclasts wanted to destroy them and failed and now you are posting stuff suggesting that the desire to destroy icons is a heresy. You aren't even being consistent and it's starting to become humorously obvious that you don't know what the heck you even believe.

You can use the BBCode option to construct any nested quoting you like.

Just hit the "[ ]" symbol in the posting window. I like doing things this way 'cause it's quicker to copy quotes and gather them together.

I tend to hit the "Reply" button to open new windows whilst reading a thread and then I copy their BBCode to a "main" posting window.

If you experiment with the placement of the [user ID] and [ quote ] "strings", you'll see that sophisticated nests of quotes can be created.

For simple quick-and-dirty combining of posts 'though it's still the way to go for me anyway.

No not lyrics at all simple thoughts off the top of my head. I could go on for days about how there is no proof of a god. I would think that a Dog is more of a god than any of the Santa Claus bullshit you all believe but I do respect your right to believe what you want. Oral Roberts and Jim and Tammy and all those mega church fucks that claim they need you to buy them a new plane to get closer to god. Holy shit.

Oh shit yeah. I do this all the time. I assumed that was a given :dunno:

@MontiCristo - yeah if that's your problem, use the [ ] BB code option. This will give you the feel of an older forum layout. Then you cut and past different quotes/replies together in one post. Also, you may have noticed, we now have the cool ability to type a response and not hit the 'Post reply' button. Leave, walk away, go to a different thread, etc., and when you come back, your typed reply should still be sitting there. In other-words, the forum software saves your work. There are other tricks too but let us know if that helps at least so we are on the same page.

This isn't in the bible though.

I can understand why people would want to believe. Personally I just found too much nonsense ans way too many contradictions in the Bible to believe. I also don't need to be threatened with eternal damnation to be a good person. There are plenty of logical, viable reasons for living a moral life other than reward or punishment. If you're only a good person due to the promise of eternal salvation or fear of hell, then you're not actually moral, your just kissing up basically.

Myths, Fables, My god is better than your god, pervasive sexual abuse, hypocrites hiding behind the bible, fuck all of it.

This is pretty much where I'm at.
I realize we are the minority.
I considered heavily before making this thread.
I am ignorant of the Bible and religion because I never studied it.
Nor do I want to.
You can blame my parents or my Sunday school BS.
Tell me I'm going to hell, I don't care. :dunno:

Religion is made up. It is a made up story.
Early man didn't have any scientific tools to explain the world around them.
It then morphed into the New Testament and the fact that your sins can be forgiven.
Then Christianity spread across the world with a goal of control and keeping people from doing evil.
I'm not sure where we would be as a species without it though TBH

I personally do not need a story book (Bible) to tell me what is right or wrong.
I don't need the threat of going to hell to keep me straight.
Outside of maybe porn, cursing, alcohol/drugs, or my lack of faith - I can say that I've never 'sinned'
I had several bad experiences as a child at Sunday School - which has really affected me.
I don't want to get into details here and I'm not sure it was actually sexual abuse - but close enough.
It scarred me, and has mostly caused my disdain for all of this.

It happened to my brother too - but worse actually. It caused him a lot of trauma, anxiety, depression and ultimately alcoholism, drug abuse, and potentially - his death. He passed away in May. Still wondering if it was suicide. If it wasn't that, it was because he was fishing in cold waters, alone, after partying 2 nights straight. He also either had parkinsons, essential tremors, or Deets because he would shake almost constantly. My hope is that he was simply trying to get a massive Bass in the boat, or his line got snagged because he never struck me as someone that would take his own life. Lots of pain here.

No one here ever came close to "smoking PLX" on guitar playing.

Vonnie, the only thing of PLX's you could smoke would be his cock.

Anyone who creates Alts in advance of their big 'coming out as a troll' day, has mental issues. After coming to Rig-Talk and accusing everyone of being an Alt or a sock puppet - it was actually you all along. I could tell. You can't fool me. How does it feel to know that you have to create alternate personalities and identities online? You are a coward. I hope your God will forgive you. :dunno:

Still love your clips

Ever wonder why the only thing you cannot talk about here is the staff-run sock puppet accounts and the paid posters ?

😎

Yep. It's because that's what you do and don't even do that very well. Projection much?

Can't wait for other sock accounts to come out of the closet with more of your clips. Which BTW - all sound pretty similar :dunno:

I just do it for fun sometimes when it's nice outside
I know and you been motivating me to do it. I should fire up my dutch oven on the tripod one of these days. I'm kinda planning on smoking a bunch of venison and stuff in a week or two when deer season opens. Maybe I'll make some soup or ask my wife to make deer chili. I could do a pretty sweet roast too. I'm actually starting to get pumped about eating a mountain of venison. What about you? What about @Floyd Eye ? We got a Nov 2nd opener here and I got until mid January to bag my limit (5). I don't even have to register anything other than buying my $30 tags, just shoot and eat. God bless Texas for that.

What's crazy is I have 3 propane stoves at my cabin but non here. 1 is my brothers (now) which is the oldest. 2 is my favorite that my brother got me for xmas a long time ago. 3 is a more modern one which doesn't work that well. Point being, they don't make them like they used too.

Tastes best served hot right at 530. My favorite meat is lamb but venison is close #2. Beef #3. I still need to work on my pork ribs, haven't gotten around to that yet.
