looking back, you see this album, and you see the Blaze-era Maiden and Steve Harris' side project 10 years ago, and you compare that with the collab between Adrian and Bruce... you just can't help but think "maybe H was right" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
idk man. It's my second favorite Maiden album (after 7th Son), but I find Flash of The Blade and Back In The Village to be noticeable lows compared to the rest of the album.
IMO, of course.
You're welcome.
Now I've never tried these pickups outside of an Anderson, though, so I can't comment on that. Local pickup repair and custom winder guy here says they sound best in Andersons and Andersons sound best with them lol. Not sure how true that is, but I found the "this brand guitar...
Manual's probably bullshit
I read the manual. It said what you said. But when you look at the product page itself, it advertises the Celestion EVHs
I've never seen the 5150iii cabs come with anything but Celestions, but if you're unsure, pop the back panel out and take pics.
It sounded fuller and more dynamic than the H3, with more note bloom, while not being a dull fat slab like the HC3+
It's a scuffed comparison, but here it is compared to a Suhr Aldrich (similar specs on paper aside from pole pieces) installed in a guitar with nearly identical specs
I remember the Fender dealer here is also a DOD dealer
So I got to try the sparkly DOD 250 reissue and then the Fender YJM...
Yeah the 250 sounded better lmao
MIM Charvels are noticeably better than MIM Fenders at the same price point IMO, and I don't just mean "I prefer the specs" (I don't)
MIM Charvels I've played, at least at our dealers, are livelier, don't come with missing screws, have a higher quality bridge, etc
I really don't understand how...
Glad it worked out for you. I did it to mine and while it came out, it stripped off a big chunk of the plating along with it.
I do dig the battle scarred look, though
I had an H3 in one guitar, HC3 in another and HC3+ in another.
I like the HC3 the most, by far.
I don't have a vid or soundclip that showcases it best right now, but I guess this is alright
I still never got to play the Stealth, but I've played the white 50W 6L6 5153 a few times and I never managed to get the gain knob above 9 o'clock on the red channel.
Heard that he did that for the leads
I think more of us are focused on his rhythm track amp tbh. I personally don't think the amp matters too much for the lead tone because there's so much you could do to make a usable lead tone sound good in a mix.
It's a natural progression and it makes sense for touring musicians.
They're still using it with a poweramp and a cab, which IMO is more important. Most big names we see onstage use these modelers with a poweramp and a cab for stage sound. Some of them also split the signal to an IR block then...
If you think about it theyr'e also the Japanese brand in their domestic market, and not just for metal. And that tickles to the rest of Asia, though not by a larg margin.
There are a lot of Grassroots/Edwards/LTD out there too.
