Did you post this over on the Grail Forum? I think Silverwulf posts over there often.

He didn't get dicked over. In fact, BoogieBabies already told him he was full of it and everything I stated was 100% correct. He's also had a thread deleted, his post count erased, and is borderline getting banned from The Boogie Board right for using vulgar, offensive language and using threats against me.

Here's the thread for anyone interested in seeing how full of it he is. If you read far enough, you'll see everything I stated was 100% correct as verified by Mesa and Boogiebabies, and you'll also see that admits to lying:

Boogie Board Mark series drama, should be interesting.

Are you able to get a refund through paypal/ebay because of the fraud listing?

oops. I see the thread on the Grail forum now. I'm not sure what he's complaining about either since the original Ebay auction does clearly state what the amp is. I think WAY too much is put into that transformer hype IMHO.

I agree 100% with you there. He also neglects to mention that he received the amp 3-4 days after he bought it in flawless condition. He raved to me how great the amp was, told everyone how awesome it was and he'd nicknamed it "Captain Crunch," swapped out the tubes it had in it, changed the grill cloth on the front...played the amp for almost a month...then all of a sudden had a problem.

Damn dude, he sold me a peanut butter sandwich and it turned out to be Baloney!

This was just pointed out over at The Boogie Board, but I thought I'd post it here too for you guys to see:

"Since TGD invited us to read his ebay feedback I did...

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... tForOthers

As you can see from reading this page, this transaction appear to be TGD's 5th case of buyers remorse in the last few months. Seems TGD aka "jcoopercam" also backed out, compained about or returned a MXR Eq, Gibson LP Custom, Jackson Soloist & Conford 4x12 since August. I certainly don't know the detail behind these transactions, but draw your own conclusions.

Not to mention the 2 month this summer TGD spend trashing the Mark V he bought?

Maybe in this case it should not be "Buyer Beware" but "Seller Beware" as I don't think TGD will every be happy with anything."

So it's not just this transaction. This is the 5TH CASE OF BUYERS REMORSE he's had within the last couple of months. Either that or he just likes to buy things, try them out for a while (like my IIC+ for a MONTH), then nitpick it and send it back and get his money back. This isn't Guitar Center. You don't try it for a month and then decide if you want it or not, though some people apparently try...frequently.

Personally, I dont understand why people take these aurguments to these kind of boards. I know its often said that they are "warning others" because they got ripped off...then the other party finds out and has to step in and "defend" themselves.........(admittedly, I'd do the same), but seriously, does anything ever really get resolved this way? Usually if you approach somebody in a semi-intelligent, non threatening way, they will work with you in some way.
I had a Strat I sold on E-BAY once to a guy from Spain, I believe, and when he got it he found a small crack where the neck bolted to the body. He insisted I must have known about it, and my listing was fraudulent, and wanted me to pay the international shipping to send the guitar back. I responded that I actually didnt see the crack and I would give him a refund, but in no way would I cover the shipping. Long story short , this guy was 100% convinced I was some con artist, when nothing could be further from the truth. Bottom line is its usually pretty obvious when somebody is intentionally trying to scam you, and sometimes, when your buying an item sight unseen, you have to expect the worst and hope for the best, unless you ask very specific questions. Not in his case. I agree with you 110%, and I've told him a million times that if he had a problem, I'd be happy to discuss it and see what we could do. What does he do? He tells me he's going to spam as much as he can about on forums, files claims, curses me out multiple times in multiple threads, makes threats against me, etc. That's not exactly the "discussion" I had in mind.

I've offered, but he doesn't want to talk. He refused to talk to me, so I'm done trying now.

That's his auction, where most of it doesn't even talk about his amp. It's just an attack on me. I've taken screen shots, reported it to E-Bay...and if I see it pop up again and this continues, I'm going to call the unnamed true owner of that account and discuss the situation with her, since that is her E-Bay/Paypal account, not "jcoopercam/thegaindeli" - and technically her that is using volatile, hateful, and slanderous language towards me.

Let me just say that I've dealt with and met the seller and found him to be upstanding and had only good experiences with him.

He's referring to me... :) He's came over and tried out some of my gear before, almost bought some stuff from me.

I've done business with New World Man, and he was a complete gentleman. Totally smooth transaction.
