It has nothing to do with that. I'm just not going to answer the same question in the 7658765 threads that troll spammer likes to start. If it started as a Simul and was made a 100/60, then obviously it can't use the same transformer and Mesa had to put in the correct one. So yes, the appropriate transformer was put it in...unless you wanted to use a Simul OT and blow up your amp.

for $2300 dollars it should of been in the listing that the output transformer was non original
if you had mentioned it in the listing I think it would of made a significant difference to the amount of money you would of got for the amp

Ive owned two mkII c+ I bought them both from the boogie forum members and I can tell you now I wouldnt even consider buying one if I knew the output transformer was a replacement

most people are the same they want to be able to make an informed decision when buying something for $2300 , not mentioning something like a replacement ot is inexcusable and robs them of the ability to make an informed decision

you read it ,I did and instead of trawling for drama read the facts in the boogie thread and this one , gaindeli does make an ass of himself but it doesent change the fact the amp has replacement output transformer and it wasnt mentioned in the listing, the seller admits in this thread its a replacement, where does it say that in the listing ?

If I was sold an amp by someone for this much money I would be furious if I wasnt told all the facts in the listing

I have to agree with you. I posted the same thing in the thread over at GrailTone and somehow it disappeared. Now, I'm no friend of TGD. He really does act the ass over at grailtone.com but the buyer shouldn't carry the burden of guessing at what questions to ask.

On the other hand it was clear in the auction that the amp was not original etc., etc. I don't see what the big deal about the OT is. The dude just wanted to make an issue out of nothing. He's constantly in and out of IIC+s all the time. A cock I say.

I agree to a degree regarding the cock bit but.... Ive been on the end of shitty ebay tactics where someone doesent mention a replaced item in the listing and I dont like it
If I am paying $2300 dollars for what is essentially a vintage amp and will become more valuable and collectible as time goes on , then I want to know ALL THE FACTS not JUST the ones the seller FEELS like mentioning in the listing
