If CharvelDan loves Freidman, that's all good, so many GREAT amps out there. I promoted SPLAWN since 2002 till last year, another great amp company. But I had to leave because my heart and soul said I had to leave.... I bought one of Billys first FIREBOLTS as he just started his company.
Im here because we all learn, we all grow, I made a ton of mistakes as we all do in life.
BLADES tone is fantastic, he says their is room for everybody on the top.
Billy and I are TONE lovers as most on this thread. I cant live here as I rarely come here, but Im getting PM's with people hearing the tone and loving what Billy's doing. Seeing Brad come to this thread, makes me feel like their is hope for RIG TALK, that we can all rock n roll in a positive light instead of hating.....turn your TONE UP!!!!! Im gonna go play guitar
Wanted to share this, whether you HATE it or dig it lol... Mike Himmel wanted a "Bare Bones" cab, this is it, why???? You might ask?
Eddie Van Halen had cabs like this and its genius...Billy did NO TOLEX, and NO speaker covers cause the speaker covers take off the top end frequencies of the tone (even if its a few DB), tolex can dampen it as well, Billy went old school EVH style to where these X-Pattern WGS speaker loaded MONSTER cabs sound FRICKIN amazing!!! I personally think Im SOLD on WGS speakers...period. What I heard at Nashville NAMM was simply mind blowing, the BEST tone I have heard, unless I was beside Eddie at Sunset Sound Recording Studio's, Hollywood Califiornia 1978 (VAN HALEN 1), wish everyone a great night! <img src="">

So, after a quick trip to Home Depot for some plywood and white spray paint, someone spent 20 minutes to build this POS?

^^ This was a big part of it. ...and no I didn't do my research, I went by what a couple of guys said that met him in person and played his 50 watt and didn't look any further. Right or wrong I tried to help the guy out and give him the chance to prove himself and it back fired on me...my bad, lesson learned! The important thing is now everyone knows beyond any doubt that he's all talk and a hack unless he can prove otherwise.

So now I get to learn about amps by fixing it myself even if it means rebuilding it. Which it probably will, but first I'll concentrate on making it safe and I'm already getting plenty of help with that. It will sit until it's safe no matter what that takes. Had I known the whole world was watching I'd have never done it. Now all I want to do is try to make the best out of a bad situation.

I also believe, that the betrayal Billy experienced at the hand of Mark Cameron has been instrumental in his quest to produce a better built, better sounding amplifier that Mark Cameron never delivered. Its free, he's got nothing to lose! I'm am sure they would say to bring one down for him. Let you take a pic with him, sure, why not? The way billy talks his stuff up, and if you didn't know anything about the guy, you might think it truly could be "the best amp in the world!" I worked in the music industry and remember guys who built guitars, amps and fx show up at studios frequently offering their gear.
