So, after a quick trip to Home Depot for some plywood and white spray paint, someone spent 20 minutes to build this POS?MORIANO":6jgkthxe said:If CharvelDan loves Freidman, that's all good, so many GREAT amps out there. I promoted SPLAWN since 2002 till last year, another great amp company. But I had to leave because my heart and soul said I had to leave.... I bought one of Billys first FIREBOLTS as he just started his company.
Im here because we all learn, we all grow, I made a ton of mistakes as we all do in life.
BLADES tone is fantastic, he says their is room for everybody on the top.
Billy and I are TONE lovers as most on this thread. I cant live here as I rarely come here, but Im getting PM's with people hearing the tone and loving what Billy's doing. Seeing Brad come to this thread, makes me feel like their is hope for RIG TALK, that we can all rock n roll in a positive light instead of hating.....turn your TONE UP!!!!! Im gonna go play guitar
Wanted to share this, whether you HATE it or dig it lol... Mike Himmel wanted a "Bare Bones" cab, this is it, why???? You might ask?
Eddie Van Halen had cabs like this and its genius...Billy did NO TOLEX, and NO speaker covers cause the speaker covers take off the top end frequencies of the tone (even if its a few DB), tolex can dampen it as well, Billy went old school EVH style to where these X-Pattern WGS speaker loaded MONSTER cabs sound FRICKIN amazing!!! I personally think Im SOLD on WGS speakers...period. What I heard at Nashville NAMM was simply mind blowing, the BEST tone I have heard, unless I was beside Eddie at Sunset Sound Recording Studio's, Hollywood Califiornia 1978 (VAN HALEN 1), wish everyone a great night! <img src="">
